I hardly know it all when it comes to archery, but I have learned a few things along the way and my goal is to try and show and describe things in different ways that you may be able to pick up on and it helps you. I do not. Just press it like you would with a shop press works just fine from what I have found
Cool video. I bought a new V3X 29 five months ago. I ordered gas strings In flo orange wt gun metal servings. My bow is granite.

Are you just the Velcro through the riser and around the bottom of the vise ?
Velcro through the riser slots yes. And the Velcro is bolted to the vise to make it secure when you clasp it together. Hope that helps.
What bench vise the bow mounted to?
It’s just a standard rife vise I mounded to the worktop bench. Worked great!
