I am new subscriber from Kolkata, India. I love your content. But after seeing your biryani recipe, I want to give you some tricks and I believe you will love it.
1. At the time boiling rice add 2bay leaf with others.
2. Before Dum rice ke uper jab apne oil dala use desi ghee little bit instead of that oil.
3. Do not use warm water use warm milk and kesar and add 1table spoon rose water, 1 table spoon keora water and 2drop of meetha aator. After layering add this mixture top of rice.
4. Even you can add lite golden fried potato.
The edit diffrence now is clearly AMAZING!!

Tip: Use the oil/ghee that u used to fry the onions for biryani too..ie in marination etc.

Jusst a suggestion after marination fry it in some more onion nd ginger garlic paste with some mint and coriander, fry it and roast it in ppure ghee and then put it on dum u will like it as well. I cook vegetarian only but i think u should fry and roast and cook chicken before keeping it in dum. Also dum will take less time like 20 min enough if u cook it b4

Just tried this and would like to add coupe of things:
- Add salt, ginger garlic paste and red chilli powder to marination in addition to what's mentioned in video.
- Make sure dum time in max 30-40 min or chicken will get burned.
- Garnish with cilantro and boiled egg
We use shaan masala at our house too and never do we put extra salt and ginger garlic. All the spices including chilly powder are in the Biryani mix like he mentioned and they are very strong so PLEASE DO NOT PUT EXTRA SALT OR CHILLY AS YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO EAT THE BIRYANI.
