They did showcase his combat prowess in bvs, that warehouse scene is the closest we'll get in relation to arkham combat in live action.
Patrick Bateman but it occured only once.It is shame that over 7 batman movies they never showed his true fighting and detective skills.
CHANDRA BHUSHAN I agree, I wish they showcase both his genius intellect and his fierce combat brutality all in one movie someday. Only movie that came semi close to that was Batman Forever, Val Kilmer's performance was very reminiscent of Kevin Conroy's in the animated series. As Bruce Wayne he was mysterious, collected and tortured but as Batman he was a force to be reckoned with. I know many people shit on that movie mostly for the nips and shots of bat's ass, but it had some very good character development for Bruce/Batman.
Watch it once and then watch it again in 0.5x times speed.
Literally one of the best hand to hand combat systems in any game.

what i love the most playing this game is batman doesn't make some weird fighting sound like "hya!!, Cyat!!! ". He's always voiceless and calm.

@@morgan0__o It would, every martial art in the war tends to teach you to exhale, even if it's not making any loud noises, that's why when you see MMA fighters and Boxers whenever they throw a kick or punch they make this "sssss" sound.
I love how he constantly moves around and doesn't stay in one place, constantly throwing them off, disorienting them and so he can fight them 1 on 1 rather than let them come all at once to overwhelm him. Realistic way to tackle multiple enemies
We need this Batman in movies, the videogame is really close to the original version: a fighter beast with superhuman physical abilities for real life standard

In the game as well, Batman can’t take too many rounds and some stuff like shotguns at close range will drop him. But it can handle most stuff. There are some weak spots though as pointed out by the Arkham Knight.
@@batsyedits570 The Armour he's wearing here is a titanium of sort only his knuckles are carbon fibre as riddler describes how it feels to beaten up by batman.
The combat in this game is so satisfying. Makes me want to play this entire game again.

The closest Batman scene we have seen that shows his fighting like this was the warehouse scene in BvS
I know a lot of people say that Affleck is the closest we've had in live-action to a fighting style like the Arkham games, but seeing this I think Pattinson is the one who comes closest, the punches, the kicks, the jumps, use of various gadgets, etc. All of this happened in Battinson's final fight against the Riddler's henchmen.
Playing this game is like finger exercise for me

I like how when he kicks the legs of one of the thugs that one leg goes in ragdoll mode and gradually takes the thug off balance and on the floor because of the momentum. Exactly how it would be in real life. Amazing detail they made here.
This game always reminded me of a bit in Kingdom Come, where the minister is watching old Bruce, and thinking that even though a Batman's life ends with being held together by surgical implants, he's still jealous of the memories Bruce must have of being able to do such incredible stunts. I played this when I was hobbling around with a back injury, so it made a particularly strong impression.
Without a doubt one of the best bits, when the soldiers get up after you knocked them out was creepy as fuck.
The score is honestly amazing and along with the gameplay it makes it even better

0:47 Just going to mention, if you didn’t know already. Doing the quick grapple is a KO when your combo meter is full. What I recently found out however is it’s an instant KO for even brutes. Just like the one you took down just before doing this quick grapple. Saves you from having to press B+Y two times to KO them.

You know how Gotham has all those urban legends on how Batman moves like a shadow the you can barely even touch before he absolutely maims you? This is the game that proves it. Asylum and City got close. But this game perfected the legend.
