- For the second attempt of split cup pour I tried to use kind of primary colours to get more contrast.
I enjoy in patterns that this split cup create, but I still can't control it as much as I want... I definitely need more practice, but I'm in love with this amazing details.
I was inspired with @rking_65 on Instagram.

TECHNIQUE: Split cup pour
MATERIAL:
- 10x10 inch canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- Cake spinner
- Palete knife
COLOURS:
- Vallejo rose madder
- Amsterdam lamp black
- Arteza indian yellow
- Amsterdam kings blue
All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.

Fiona you are very quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite paint pouring artists on CZcams. Your work is always so beautiful and striking. This piece in particular is breathtakingly beautiful. I love every inch of it I don’t think that there’s too much yellow. I think that it is perfect. the composition is just so unique and there is so much to look at in this piece. Your eye knows right where to go and then you just keep following it around the piece and you see more and more beautiful things the longer you keep looking at it. I agree with you, Fiona-the details are stunning! I love the “feathery effect” the split cup produces. I wasn’t sure about spinning the pour but it brought out the blue and beautifully elongated the lines! This is why you are the teacher and I am the student😀

Wow! Wonderful! The size of the split cup seems to be awkward to hold. I'm impressed that you were able to hold it with such control! I would have dropped the cup or worked too fast and it would have been a catastrophe for sure. Gorgeous results! Love it!
