Lets not forget that Jimmy was on SNL for quite some time and has done MANY skits, both on The Late Show and SNL, dressed up in drag and wearing heels. Given that each skit he did when dressed in drag meant that he most likely rehearsed it too, I'd venture to say that Jimmy has had plenty of experience wearing heels. But not for the reason that you're alluding to, lol. Though, it would be pretty funny if his wife or children came out one day and said their husband or Dad regularly dressed as a woman around the house.

I'm pretty sure he didn't mind that much. Also, don't forget that they have rehearsals for these shows. The bass player knew ahead of time that she'd be giving his instrument a whirl. All musicians in succesful bands have multiple bass', guitars, drums, ect. If he was that worried about her messing up hos bass, he would have used a different one for the airing of the show, or switched it out before the skit aired.
Next time someone asks me to play a bass line, I'm doing that. Dance and everything.
