    He can ball. I see shades of JJ Reddick & Clay Thompson with the shot & range. Looks like a sneaky defender & makes the right play passing the rock.

    This pick made it much easier for Phoenix to settle with Collison/Rubio as a stop-gap. Man I can hardly wait to see how this guy does. I see a bit of Steve Nash in him and if he could at least be 65 to 70 percent in his rookie season as Stevie was, then that helps Phoenix tremendously. I can see multiple packages here to start the year as well. Especially if we get a decent veteran PG, a good small ball lineup for instant scoring bursts could be whoever we sign at PG and then Booker/Jerome at the 2 and 3. It makes us passing on White that much easier to swallow as well because he appears to play with so much more control and patience. Guess we'll see.

      Dude I see the very same thing, a lot of Steve Nash actually, the way he controls the game, his timely passes, Basketball IQ, very good shooter from all three levels on the floor, he could potentially be the steal of the draft along with Cam Johnson!!!

      @@SubBlaze1 yeah that's right, Cameron Jonhson...kid can be the steal of the draft as far as shooting and being a complementary player, give you an example....did you ever thought Isaiah Thomas, you know....the little guy, he was picked at 60th....look at what he did for his career? Got to think outside the box dude....👍

    Well! Certainly didn't expect us to come on board for him now! Welcome aboard, champ! I'm certainly more on board with him than Cameron Johnson, at least. (Seriously can't believe *that* was what we selected at #11 instead of Brandon Clarke. >:/)

    • @JettSkoll
      @JettSkoll Před 5 lety +8

      Brandon Clarke has no jump shot and is not much bigger than Josh Jackson w/ less athleticism. Cam Johnson is the best shooter in the draft and was the best player on that UNC squad.

    • @crazyluigi6664
      @crazyluigi6664 Před 5 lety

      @@JettSkoll Still, there was a need for a power forward at hand, not another bloody small forward! Eh, at least they got Dario Saric to start out there and Aron Baynes to help back-up DeAndre Ayton. If it was just Cameron, I'd argue it was a complete disaster there. Thank God Ty Jerome looks pretty good as a point guard option.

      I am so mad we didn't get clarke, not that I have anything against johnson, but clarke would have helped fill in our defense a bit. Least they could have did is try to trade JJ and some picks for him.

    • @cobra7282
      @cobra7282 Před 5 lety +4

      @@crazyluigi6664 I mean was Clarke really going to fix our PF issues? At least Cam gives us something that we were sorely lacking from almost every position last year with his shooting ability. Saric also helps both the PF situation and bolsters our shooting deficiencies.
      A good way to look at all of this is to just imagine if a team had taken Kawhi in the top 5 when he was draft or if the Suns drafted either Giannis or Gobert over Len. Any of those scnarios would have had the GMs being laughed at by fans and talking heads alike, but they would be looking like genius moves now. Not saying Cam will be as good as any of those guys (I mean he was considered a reach at 11th in a weak draft class), but he certainly has a solid chance of having more of an impact in the NBA than a lot of the other guys they could have taken there.

    don't care what anyone says, Zion is great athlete but ty Jerome is best player in the draft. wish he was drafted by Chicago as they need a real point guard and leader, they're a mess. they need someone to direct that messed up offense. ty would be perfect. if allowed to start, I believe ty will prove to be steal of the draft. yes he's bi-racial but I ask you, could he feel safe in Compton, south central , or Chicago's englewood neighborhood. wish he finished at Virginia to see him again but phoenix doesn't deserve him. should be in Chicago or Boston. will prove better than kemba walker.
