The shape what you have to draw must be drawn within the "edges", in other words you have to make a smaller figure to always be recognized

I kinda wish TAS’s for games like this would detail what it is they have control over and what they’re focusing on in the run.
When is a block value intentionally manipulated? Is it always done or is it sometimes not worth it? Is the starting play order subject to manipulation? How about CPU performance in mini games? Is this aiming to be optimal or is this more about watching a theoretically perfect player?
You can intuit a lot of this as you watch but I know as an average viewer I’m likely missing and misunderstanding so much, and maybe that’s part of the fun, but I feel like it would give me a lot more appreciation for the run to see behind the curtain a little.
I like how Mario doesn’t want anyone to have a star but him. It’s so funny that the rounds proceed as normal until halfway where Mario duels everyone and steals their stars.

What's kind of neat is that half-dice sets can be useful for short-range travel. If you need to land on a tile that's within 5 units of your character, half dice sets give you a higher chance of landing where you want.
I'm probably just stating the obvious but I thought that was a neat observation

I remember seeing an MP2 TAS where you could manipulate other player's dice rolls with perfectly timed pauses.
That doesn't seem to be the case here, so all we have is a Mario that's unbeatable at the minigames (unless it's a 2v2, in which case he's carrying dead weight)
The rolls are predetermined after every turn as explained by Mario Party Legacy in his dice roll video.
Somehow, Mario got a *lower* Star count on Wiggler's Garden than that one time an Easy CPU creamed me in Wiggler's Garden.

I didn’t know what the game I grew up with did speedruns. Anyways, great run! This game was from my childhood and I played it every day and seeing people like u speed run it makes my heart warm up.
Also forgot to say something: Luigi got destroyed so badly on toadettes music room that I actually felt bad.
This game is my childhood, just hearing the audio is nostalgic.

I wanted a Mario Party for my 3DS and, after some research, found Island Tour and Star Rush both fell flat in the reviews. I bought this instead and have been loving it. I even lost twice on the third board before winning and it added to the fun! Great balanced game in regards to CPU competitiveness.
Star Rush is a great game, I loved it. Top 100 may be something I'd recommend, even. Of course, not to say MPDS is bad at all, but Star Rush is something to try, despite what those "reviews" say.
