Even though his boss fight was insultingly easy, _Adam Smasher still filled me with dread in a way even Maelstrom couldn't pull off._ Firstly, his design just screams "evil RoboCop" vibes, and in a way that leaves you just... Awestruck at how malevolent he looks. Then there's his personality: _Cold. Calculated. Vicious. Sociopathic._ This man is an absolute sociopath who will stalk his prey. He will show up when you least expect it, and will cut through anything and anyone in his way to _get to you, and terminate you in the most violent way possible._ Then... _There's how everyone else knows of him._ Hell, Jackie Welles knows how much of a legend he is, and makes sure to tell you that legend _is a bleak one._ Finally, _there's his boss theme._ A bleak, grim and downright *_EVIL_* Cyberpunk Synthwave track that perfectly encapsulates what kind of monster your up against. Even if he was easy, _he was the most terrifying monster you could ever hope to never imagine._ Which only gets amped up to eleven in _Edgerunners._

@@thegameknight8916 my guess on why he went easy on V is for hopes of having a fun fight, like how he saw David Martinez (edgerunners) that his cyber skeleton was quote “a child’s play toy relying on anti gravity training wheels!” Barely worth his time but then we all know how that went, he though v was just a normal chrome junkie that could easily be ripped apart or shot with one blast so he held back hoping the fight will only last longer until V blows smashers right arm and piece of chest plate, after that all smasher could do use his left arm and rockets and call reinforcements, he could of done that from the start and instead of trying to punch and Shoot V, he could of picked V up from the ground being held from the neck and either be ripped limb from limb or just empty his arm canons into V’s torso, not to mention Smasher had Sandevistan all that time but never used it
Song sounds appropriate for someone who is essentially only 10% human and 90% augmented cybernetic tech. Truth be told, i'm shocked he survived all the changes to his body despite the known side effects.

Yall don't understand the fact that if he was lore accurate, we wouldn't be able to kill him PERIOD. The boss fight is as accurate as they can get without him being untouchable and people complaining that he's too difficult. We're the main character of the game and we're essentially just safe by plot armor. If David, Blackhand, Rogue, or Johnny couldn't beat Smasher, what makes you think V can? This is cyberpunk, not dark souls 😭
