Thank you so much for this video! Made the process so easy to follow along with. And now my machine is clean! Back to perfect shots!
Thanks for the video, this is exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you for making this video. Super easy, but very helpful to watch.
Thank you so much! This (along with your other videos) have been extremely helpful to me as a new P Go owner.
Would you mind making a video showing how you would descale this machine? There’s very little info in the owners manual. Thanks again 😊
No problem, I actually sold the P-Go and downgraded to a Gaggia, but descaling on this machine will be exactly the same as other single boiler brass or heat exchange machines! You can follow this video from WLL czcams.com/video/yEGfyJkWSqU/video.html Just use citric acid powder amzn.to/3qGsSDR it's an excellent brass descaler, and is very economical compared to dedicated "espress descalers" such as these: amzn.to/44grl55
@@TheGizmoGarage no :( why did you downgrade to a gaggia?
@@DataEngUncomplicated My wife doesn't like the slower boiler/steaming heat-up time of the P-Go
Thanks man, love the Profitec videos as there aren’t many on CZcams at the moment. I got the same bottomless portafilter as you and I love it but it requires noticeably more force to lock into the machine. Might get a different gasket to see if it makes a difference.
Do you make milk drinks too? I got a thermometer and it takes quite awhile for the milk to get to 149°f (65°c)
Also, do you still play Overwatch 2? Would love to play sometime.
The bottomless portafilter doesn't turn as far as the stock portafilter do, but it does lock in place just fine and provide good seal and pressure so I wouldn't about the locking position is not all the way in.
We do steam the milk, it's pretty fast for us, and we can steam at least two servings in one take. You do need to turn on the steam wand and purge those extra water trapped in the wand for about 5 seconds during the heat up time and before steaming, that way it steams a lot faster (otherwise the first 5 seconds of steaming you will let in a lot of water into milk jug)
Thank you
How often do you need to do it? Thanks!
Depending on use, at least once every 1-3 months, or oil and grease will accumulate internally and affect taste
Thanks! how to clean the boiler from scale?
I should have a video out soon! Subscribe to stay updated :)
Also I am interested in Profitec Go descaling. The user manual does not mention the procedure at all.
Any idea about what to do?
Thanks
Same as many other espresso machines with brass boiler. Just brew with descaler till tank is empty. Can kind of follow the steps here: czcams.com/video/yEGfyJkWSqU/video.html
Thanks @@TheGizmoGarage
Thanks! Do you need to lube the Go? I got a pp600 not sure how to lubricate the group head.
You do not need to lube anything. If you haven't replaced the rubber gasket, get it replaced to a silicon one and it glides portafilters super smooth and rarely need any attention. Try this gasket: amzn.to/3mbbO6Q (you'll probably need 8mm red gasket for the PP600)
You forgot to wdt an tamp your forbidden coffee. rookie move.
hahaha, are we really going for the Coffee Circlejerk move? :D
