- This is midway through the final battle against Keisar Ephes, when he recovers some HP and the song GONG starts to play. This is the good ending (57+ skill points). The difference is that these two enemy Gun Edens appear and Irui appears as a reinforcement.
The dead appear to cheer for the living people. Interesting is Char, who appears as both Char and Quattro, and Haman, who appears to Judau.
Notice that Ingram has extra dialogue with Cobray.
You know a good story is nearing its final, greatest climax when it bridges the gap between the living and the dead.
Anyone else find it funny that the spirit of Char basically did a quick costume change into Quattro when speaking to Amuro first then Kamille?
Actually, now that I think about it... isn't Judau, the pilot of ZZ gundam, the reincarnation of Cosmo, who's piloting Ideon? This game involves a lot of Cross Gate shenanigans, good lord.
That was in the dark grey of the Gundam Canon.
I think Char and Quattro are separate entities in games like these.
More likely Kamille tries to differentiate them in his mind, so Char appears as Quattro to him because that's how he wants to remember him. Just my two cents on this.

This scene is more epic if you can understand what they're saying.
No matter how many times I've seen this, it always gets my blood burning.
Camille will always see Char as Quattro, and always differently than Amuro, who has much more to hate Char for.
Camille would see Char as more of his teacher, even after he learned who Quattro actually was.
There will never be another SRW game that surpasses Alpha 3...
Srw alpha 3 seems like a good game i would play it gives me z3 vibes
err..OG MD is still epic, but on par with @3, we have to wait for the final OG game

I think the guy with the monocle is Hiroshi's (Jeeg) father.
The guy with wings is Richter, enemy of Kazuya (Daimos) and brother of Erika, Kazuya's love interest.
The guy with the horns is Hainel, the first enemy of the Voltes V team and brother of 3 of them.
Amuro, like Roy, is one of the main characters that SRW Alpha decided to save. Really, Amuro surviving the events of CCA is one of the LEAST contrived canon changes in SRW, and I can't think of one game where it doesn't happen.
Char usually does too, at least in games where he remains a good guy.
Four isn't dead, and she is on your team. She was a secret character in Alpha 1, when the Zeta plot was covered, and the rest of the series continues as if you saved her.

2. The message from Minmie and other people from your time (the events at the end the previous mission knocked the team thousands of years into the future). Their purpose was to boost morale, which they succeeded in doing with the help of the ghosts.
From what I can understand, other dead spirits appeared but were not shown. Examples were Natarle, Nicol and Kinryu.

Though after Keiser Ephes was dealt with, Ideon sent them back to their own time.
Ingram tells the team to beat Keiser Ephes. Ryusei is amazed that he's seeing his former instructor. He had prepared them to beat the guy because he was under Yuuzes control and couldn't do so himself and that only got worse when he lost his body. He also apologizes for the stuff he did (like nearly killing Aya). Aya says it's okay now. Ingram then says he's "leaving the rest to her," which she accepts.
What is there to be confused about? Ingram never betrayed the SRX team and the others of his own will. Now he's encouraging them to fight the true threat.
As for Cobray the two of them have a connection including Cobray's mech largely consisting of Ingram's Astranagant and Ingram spends much of the early game trying to take over Cobray's body before giving up and letting Cobray do what he wants.
According to the GameFAQ translation on RyuKoOh/KoRyuOh scenario, the stage is set around Earth 12,000 years into the future, similar to how GunBuster got home at the end of its series.
The Ide did sent them back to their own time after Keiser Ephes been dealt with.

That one song that takes up most of the vid makes me think of Rai's theme, Baran doban's theme, and Brave sword braver soul from soulcalibur2, all smooshed into one big uber-pwnful song!
Ingram confirms that he was once the soul the resided in Cobrey (Cobrey never actually sees Ingram's face). Cobrey notes that Ingram doesn't exist in him anymore. Ingram says that's fine, as they aren't each other (despite being clones). He than says goodbye to Ingram, another person of himself.

I laughed when Char appeared to Amuro as himself, then immediately after went as Quattro to Camille.
Changing outfits and throwing on shades must be very easy in the afterlife.

Err... no. The official canon is that Ingram was convinced by Ryusei but disappeared after the final battle. Cobray's storyline is the only one which touches on what happened to him after that (Astranagant absorbed his body, Astranagant was severely damaged at some point during that time, etc.)
Apparently the Crossgate have the ability to send you through Time and Space. Ideon somehow summoned one up.
The Char's Counterattack story came in Alpha 2. Except Amuro survived and Char did not. The team already had enough trouble with the government due to Blue Cosmos, it would be that much harder to not be seen as an enemy if Char was still around and on your team.
Char dies no matter what you do. Though a non-cannon end to Alpha 2 would have Haman surviving and on your team. It is understandable that this game assumed you made the other choice and she and Char joined up instead.

Most of those characters died before Alpha 3. The Gundam characters all died in Alpha 2 (except Lalah who was dead before Alpha 1 even started, killed in the One Year War which was background to the Alpha series). Alpha 2 was also true for the Mazinger and Jeeg professors, Heinel and Richter and Musashi. Ingram died in Alpha 1.
Roy never dies in the Alpha canon, despite doing so in Macross, Macross DYRL, AND Robotech. Super Robot Wars does that a lot, although going by this video, less than you'd expect in Alpha 3.
When dead people starts to talking to the heroes, expect the bad guy to get f*cked up

The song that Minmay, Lacus and Basara sang together was no other than the famous Nyan cat song.
Trieze is not alive, he died way back in Alpha 1 and is involved in the event. Zechs mentions his name near the end. There are number of characters mentioned that you don't see the dialouge for.
Well, SRWR, true, but as you said, it gets immediately reversed, and once you go back you eventually stop Char from leaving the AEUG/Londo Bel in the first place.
The other route is more amusing, since it's the Nadesico movie - Duminuss just says lol to that film's deus ex machina ending and starts killing everyone, then thankfully the Time Flow Engine kicks in and you go back and stop the film from ever starting (if only we could go back in time and stop it from being made.)
The others Alpha 3 originals don't get anyone. But Team TD (only Selena's route) get to see Philio. Cobray has very good reason to get Ingram, the others don't really have much connection to dead characters from previous games.
Alpha Gaiden has already got a fan translation (you will have look for yourself, I won't link to it) by the same group that did the SNES version of SRW3, and they still working other SNES games and Alpha 1

Hey, would someone be willing to do a Fansub/Fandub of this game at the very least (I want to see/play Cobray's arc, Selena's arc, and Kusuha's arc), and more if they feel like it (the Entire Alpha Series, Advance Portable, OGS, and OGG to be precise)? If they do that, would they kindly post a link to a site where we can download everything (the original game converted to ROM, as well as the translation patch)? Never happens in SRW Reversal, where the main characters fights with Londo Bell and CCA did occur with Amuro and Char dying.
However, Duminuss comes and something happens with the Time Flow Engine making the main char go back to the past or into another dimension and you meet Amuro from MSG.
Another example would be the lack of CCA in SRW Destiny.
Amuro not dying from CCA has occured less and less in the more recent times.
Like I said, I only read the RyuKoOh/KoRyuOh storyline. I'm not sure about the Cobray storyline.
Actually, that is the Gunbuster Ending. The one you're confused with were Gunbuster Final Fight.

...No you don't, Hi-Nu is a secret. He may not have met the requirements. Or he may have put someone else in it/chosen not to use it.
"Alpha gaiden translation" should give you the patch as the first result, I bought the game though so I never needed to bother looking for the ISO.

@Racsowar Really? Because you killed him obviously. Yes, Alpha 1 gave you the option to bring him back to your side in the last mission, but he is hardly the only secret character they left dead.

You didn't get the good ending then, which requires at least 57 out of 59 skill points and reaching the final stage in 420 total turns or less.

its hardly a secret. amuro and bright need 60 kills each and since amuro is the best gundam pilot there is, 60 kills is easy. bright may have a problem, but nearly all the ra kailum's weapons are map or all so its easier. of course, if u dont field them...
