- I never got why Tandemaus had to level up specifically through battle in order to evolve, but at least that got us a free Elira reaction to their battle animations.

While journeying to a certain electric gym, Elira gets the sudden urge to collect a mouse duo. And lo and behold, they appear - twice - right next to the city! Some time passes, she shoves a bunch of candy down their throats, they evolve, and Elira can rejoice in the added babies. Until chat makes it weird, of course.

I was so confused why there was four mice and not two when I looked at my party
They don't even reproduce, it's stated in it's Pokeded entry that the child pops up out of nowhere, it's just here now
@@lanedegener8 there’s also a variant where they only have 1 kid I believe, it has around a 1% chance of happening though but that means that getting one that’s both a shiny and the 3 family variant is extremely rare.

It's as if he felt his position as favorite Pokemon was threatened by Maushold.
Fun Fact: If you have 6 Maushold, your team consists of 24 Pokèmon.
Although, a team of 6 Falinks would have 36 Pokèmon total, so if you really want to see how far you can push the rules of Pokèmon battles, Falinks do it much better.
EDIT: Okay, there are a LOT more unfair Pokèmon teams than I thought.
What about Wishiwashi? Never understood how that isn't just straight up cheating in official battles. It literally calls over an entire school of wild fish Pokemon to help it in battle.

I think you can only get it if they're at the front of the team. Otherwise they'll just multiply without any warning at all.

SV might have disappointed everyone with it's glitchy and janky graphics but it did succeed in touching everyone's hearts with the cutest mons in the franchise
The graphics dont bother me but the fps issues really get me down because without those issues this game would be up there with best games in the franchise.

I found a 5 star raid the other day of the 3 mice variant, so I now have a 5 IV Maushold family of 3... I wish it was shiny too, but I could never be that lucky. Gonna keep up the hunt, and once I do, it will terrorize the competitive scene.
Question… You can breed Mausholds, right? And out of the egg is a Tandemaus? Is this one of those things you really shouldn’t think about?

The same reason why you get Kangaskhan hatching out of an egg with a baby already inside the pouch.
It’s a genderless Pokémon so it can really only breed with Ditto due to how those mechanics work. Despite that though, it’s the first genderless Pokémon to be in the Field Egg Group.
I'm thinking it's like Klink. They're born as individuals, but the moment they're out of the egg, they immediately seek out another newborn of their species and bond for life. So when you breed a Tandemaus, the instant it hatches, another newborn Maus that was lying in wait the whole time runs up and bonds with it.

Maushold isn't in my main team, but I let them out to play here and there! They seem to be fascinated by Miraidon, as I noticed they talk to Miraidon a lot during my picnics!
Pawmot ended up being my 6th on my main team. During my picnics, when she's not sleeping, she seems to be popular among my Pokemon, as she's chatting with one of the others most of the time!

I figure it's partly because they're based on a popular line of felt dolls called Sylvanian Families, also known as Calico Critters.
Also helps that they're a competitive powerhouse in their own right, thanks to their HA Technician and their signature move, Population Bomb.

I'm sorry, but this pokémon is simply stupid. I was never a fan of "pokémon" that are composed of more than one creature. Some may have an excuse like Exeggcute (it's implied it's actually a mind hive with multiple bodies) but these are just separate creatures that the game treat as one for no discernible reason.
