- After repairing the driver's front end, I needed to check the wiring to make sure everything worked. I thought I may as well take everyone along for the inspection and testing and talk way too much.
Thanks for watching!
The engineers continue to astonish me at Winnebago. I guess they expect the proud owners of these new coaches to work on their dream to feel connected with it. Thank you for the tour of this Forza.
I'm sure people would like to not feel that connected lol
Well, as long as the commentary is free...I love free stuff.
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos , showing us all the crapola these companies put out is priceless . I don't know how you keep your sanity try to fix what the factories put out . 👍👍
I often do have emotional breakdowns that I edit out. Honestly.
Thanks for bringing us along for the ops check.
you are very welcome
Hopefully, no one got hurt! The front mirrors one on front and one on the side, to me, looks a little strange but functional. Another "not roof repair". Excellent!😊👍😈
I did ask and no one was hurt.
I've got a 2014 Forza. It has been a great rig and bought used I was able to get into a newer diesel pusher at a decent price. My kitchen faucet has plenty of clearance to the counter edge when the slide is in. Must have been a quality control problem on that particular rig. My storage compartments also have real rotary latches rather than the crap cabinet latches Winnie switched to after 2014 for cost savings. Those compartment doors are notorious for swinging open during travel.
Overall, I think it's a nice unit and have always like Winnebago's.
It seems the lower priced rigs seem to have more family options like bunks but many of the high end are more for a couples bus. Not all the time but I see that often in different brands. They have multiple floor plans though so there are some different floor plans. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas and stay safe and healthy.
thank you, yours as well.
The walk thru was just so-so, but the free commentary was GREAT !!!!!!! ha ha
Thank you I appreciate that :)
*sad trombone* is the soundtrack to my life
that is unfortunate
That surge protector you're 100% correct on that one.... and that black water hose I don't like the way that hooks up and that's just my opinion like you said nobody asked me.. thank you again James and Merry Christmas and happy New Year. The whole CZcams world🎅🎄🎅🎄
Thank you very much! Merry Christmas!
Nice motorhome. Thanks for the walk through
Thanks for watching!
Love your video's. We have a 2014 34T Forza, and it has much less electronic stuff and better latches on the basement doors. Seems like Winnebago went a bit backwards over the years.
I am a Winnebago fan so I am disappointed when I see problems from them too.
The original slideout counter top is straight (I have a '14). That is why that one is hitting the faucet. Also, ceiling height is less to make the overall height 12' ( big sales point when they first came out). Interesting to see that the new style slide systems don't seem to work much better than the Schwintek that is on mine.
I don't think I'll ever say many nice things about either slide mechanisms. It's just baffling the factory QC and dealership never saw the slide hit the faucet.
Appreciate the walk thu!
you are welcome!
Thank you for the great educational video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Had slide out noise on our 2007 Everest 364Q, found out the Lippert frame was broke. Several thousand to fix, but works like butter on hot toast now. Think the dealer probably new it when they sold it to us 2 years old.
I'm glad to hear it got fixed and better.
My Progressive surge protector is onboard, they have a bypass switch so if the protector fails you can bypass it. BTW I stay clear of any full wall slides nothing but trouble...cheers!
I do not like full wall slides either.
Not that I’ve ever seen that!
At least a dozen times.Pillows with holes in them, you name it.Scary.
I may have burnt a formica countertop with a halogen light before.
Not sure if you're comfortable with it, but it would be good to know a range of pricing on the repairs that you do. This body work on the Forza, a roof replacement project, a sidewall delamination fix...unless I'm missing it, it would be good to know the "general low to high" pricing for having these repairs made. I can understand it may be different for a client like the dealer versus and individual but having a better understanding may simply get more people to pay attention to routine maintenance instead of letting something slide until it's really expensive. Regardless what you decide to tell us, I've really enjoyed the last two weeks going through your library of stuff. I've learned a lot. Thanks!
Thank you so much for watching, I'm happy to hear you find them enjoyable. I am not sure I would be able to share the cost of most of the repairs. I'll try to share what I can.
Owwwwe! That sound at the very end sounded just like my dentist drilling away!
sorry, I thought the owner my like a sneak peak at the progress.
You seem so pessimistic about fancy options on these rigs! I wonder why? lol
The constant failure of window shades is enough to drive me crazy. :)
I had a Winnie Vista that made a worrisome slide sound similar to that one. I traced it to the wire loom, its corrugated housing would drag along the plywood base of the slide as it moved.
I think you are correct. It didn't make that noise retracting at all, and it does sound like loom. Nice work!
That slide makes enough noise for itself and the bunk.
that's funny
How far Winnebago has fallen in QC. Of course they still have the price point as luxury class. Love how the engine needs to be running to work the slides but off to to run the shades.
The slides need maximum voltage to operate while the shade shouldn't be able to block the windshield while driving is the idea.
I can’t imagine that while this coach was until the factory warranty that the kitchen faucet was taking chunks out of the countertop?? Who wouldn’t demand new countertops and the faucet moved over a slight bit?
I'm surprised too. I think it could have been done without replacing the countertop but I dunno why they didn't
the hole in the counter top for the spicket was not centered on the sink
I was going to be a basketball player but my shoulders are too close to the ground.
I understand
I would think that the slide will sound just like the bunk nice and quiet
It would be nice if they did! Most bus conversions have very quiet slides, but are crazy complicated and expensive.
I got a gas vs the diesel as I heard diesel were more expensive to repair ... Your thoughts ?
I like the gas units more than diesel. I don't like the smell, maintenance, or DEF of diesel. It also makes me anxious running low on fuel not knowing if a gas station will have diesel or not.
Maybe that low shower head is for tall people afraid of drowning in the shower. Lol
That is a possibility :)
Cameras in the mirror we got a mirror in the basement....
faucet not centered in the sink machinest didnt do the job right and winnebago went on to install it..unreal winnebago
The sound that we heard sounds like it's the track might be the rollers on the track that are one of them's probably bad
I didn't look, so I didn't have to know and fix it. :)
Was the faucet replaced and didn’t fit.
not that I could see
Winnebago's are junk. I bought an 07 Country Coach Affinity with 50k miles from the original owner for 170k. It is 10 times better than these 200k pieces of junk.
