    Thank you for the clear demo of the ambu , (we call it ambu in this part of the world). It is very useful at this juncture as we are preparing for the covid emergency now.

      Somebody told me it's not just for CPR it's for critically injured patients rescue breathing and after surgery but the thing about that is or show my complaint is when comes out after surgery I'm breathing on my own I don't need to be accepted unless I have cardiac arrest and ask one for the thing about that I have done my own experiment on myself using it when my blood pressure was high and ask where's the bag and it was like about 10 seconds after that my blood pressure was Lord and not just said you can't resuscitator a patient if his or her spirit and soul is not in the flesh no matter how much you shocking them or breathe for for them cuz in the end God has the ultimate say so not man and I'm going to find that part just to be mean but I'm just giving you the residuals am I fat I don't believe that an Ambu bag can lower blood pressure real quick do me one favor do a video segment on it and or do a trial run if it doesn't you can say that I'm lying but if it does you would bust open the medical community the artist said that Ambu bags are for CPR rescue breathing and all that

      I love that you don´t have sleeves, watch or rings. Most people in these videos do. I really enjoy your videos, very useful! Thank you!

    Well, I didn't know you had to pressure test the bag valve mask unit before use.

    George O. RRT :
    Now with the coronavirus pandemic...it will be good to know how to use one of this...!!! I guess you don't need pure oxygen...just ambient air (21 % oxygen) might be ok..say as per an emergency situation ? You mentioned two types of valves...can you explain further the differences between both ? Thanks..and keep us well informed!!!

    If your bagging without oxygen do you need to have reservoir bag on the back?

    • @GeorgeORRT
      @GeorgeORRT  Před 3 lety

      Yes, otherwise your FiO2 will decrease, quite significantly in some cases. It will still function if it's a self inflating one but expect a lower FiO2 based on RR and O2 flow into it

    If the person is unconscious how would i determine if an npa or opa needs to be inserted?

    • @GeorgeORRT
      @GeorgeORRT  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi: Unconscious, unresponsive = OPA. Any gag reflex or partially conscious patient = NPA. If you put in an OPA and they gag, pull it out and switch to NPA.
