The TB-3 is super awesome...I absolutely love mine. Gets a lot of hate because of its look, but I think these might get more popular as time passes. The randomizer is pretty fun.
This seems to be a trend. Roland tends to make a lot of gear that gets panned early on but eventually ends up being regarded as some of the best gear on the market. Even the venerable TB-303 was originally hated before people found out that you could make it sing by cranking up the resonance.
Yep, just got one - wish i'd bitten the bullet and gotten it new when it came out! Would have saved me from a lot of other gear lust TBH - if it can't keep up with the TB-3, u don't need it! :)
@@williamwallace6508 yes I know. But It is what it is: a beautiful box without any service assistance. Personally I prefer the cyclone bass bot or the beautiful looking (bit noisy) Tb03.
I just checked out your stuff. In one of your live videos, It looks like you use it as a your main sequencer. Is there a reason for that, Or would I be able to trigger it with my Mpc?
@@andrewbrown443 I heard something about this. Something about the tb3's sequencer besides being versatile and dead simple has some unique Idiocracies that make it a great midi sequencer for other gear...🤷🏻♂️

This thing can make crazy dark drones and modulated perc kicks like a mini self contained modular. It kicks ass of monos 3x the price
