When I lost my brother, I used to go and sit next to his flowers (a pot that belongs to him) and talk to him the way Donnie does here, like “hey, how you keeping?… I’ve been better, you know? But you’re not going to believe what happened yesterday!… oh, and also, this song made me think of you”
I played him songs al least once a week. I don’t do it anymore because the both of us needed that I let him go, but he’s always with me, I just know.

i did the same when i lost mine,, sitting with his stuff & talking to it was the only way i knew how to grieve
i couldn’t sleep in our room for months because looking at his bed without him there was so painful
letting go is definitely the right thing (i had to as well) but he’ll always be there in the back of the mind
it’s just a reminder that he loves you,, that’s what i tell myself at least
as someone who’s lost a sibling watching Donnie (a character i relate to a lot) go through the grieving process is honestly therapeutic
i’ve never felt a connection like i have with Donnie & watching someone similar to me react the same way i did feels amazing.
This lil video reminded me that i’m not alone so thank you 💜💜

I really like the turtle's relationship and I just imagine them but as different people but same personality and we are all siblings, that's how desperate I am. Just for older or younger sibling 😭
