- This is the 8th session of 51st Annual ISNA Convention.
Wherever Islam has gone it has produced wondrous beauty, a reflection of inward and outward excellence (ihsan), from the arts to human character. This session will move us to rediscover the meaning of beauty, and how to achieve and manifest it in the making of Muslim American culture.
About the speaker:
Shaykh Omar Suleiman's journey of seeking knowledge started in 2000 in the United Arab Emirates where he spent a few years at the feet of prestigious scholars such as Shaykh Tariq Ibn Rajah and Amr Al Sheshany. Since then he has sought knowledge and studied under Shaykh Salah As Sawy, Dr Hatem Al Haj, his father in law Shaykh Abul Abed, and Al Allamah Shaykh Omar Al Ashqar (rahimahullah).
Shaykh Omar has two Bachelors degrees in Islamic Studies and in Accounting, a Masters degree in Islamic Finance, and is currently pursuing a Phd in Islamic Studies from the International Islamic University of Malaysia.

1991 میں سویٹ یونین کے ختم ہونے کے بعد
خطہ بلقان میں صورت حال بالکل بدل چکی تھی اور یہاں کی قوموں نے آزادی کا راستہ اختیار کرلیا تھا ۔ بوسنیا ہرزیگوینا نے بھی آزادی کا اعلان کردیا تھا تو یہان جنگ کے شعلے بھڑک اٹھے تھے ۔
سربیا ، یہاں کے یہودی - عیسائیوں اور یوروپی ممالک کو یہ ہرگز گوارا نہیں تھا کہ یہاں ایک مسلم ملک بنے ۔ اس لیے اس کے خلاف خونریز جنگ چھیڑ دی گئی ۔ اس وقت یہاں کے مسلمانوں پر بہت مظالم ڈھائے گئے تھے اور انہین خاک و خون مین آلودہ کردیا گیا تھا اور لاکھوں مسلمانوں کو مار ڈالا گیا ۔ یہ یہاں کے مسلمانوں کی بہت ہی دردناک اور خونچکاں داستان ہے ۔
اس وقت میں دوحہ قطر میں انگریزی عربی -- مترجم کی حیثیت سے کام کررہا تھا ۔ میں اس خطہ کے مسلمانوں حالات سے بہت متاثر ہوا ۔ میں نے یہاں کے حالات کا سنجیدگی سے مطالعہ کرنا شروع کردیا ۔ یہاں کی تاریخ اور یہاں کے مسلمانوں کے حالات اور جنگ کے وقت کے حالات کے تفصیلی مطالعہ کے بعد بہت مواد جمع ہوگیا ۔ اس کو ترتیب دینے کے بعد یہ ایک کتاب ہو گئی ۔ یہ مسودہ کی شکل میں تھا ۔ اس مین مزید اصلاح اور تنقیح کی ضرورت تھی لیکن اسی حالت میں یہ کتاب شائع کردی گئی ۔ کلکتہ سے شایع ہونے والے مشہور ماہانہ میگزین کے اڈیٹر ف ۔ س اعجاز نے اس کا بہت اچھا پیش لفظ لکھا اور یہ کتاب انہی کے پریس سے شائع کردی گئی ۔
اس کا نام میں نے ' خطہ بلقان اور نو آزاد مسلم ملک بوسنیا ہرزیگوینا ، تاریخی پس منظر ، داستان حال اور مستقبل کے امکانات ' رکھا ۔
یہ کتاب 7 اگست 1995 مین کلکتہ سے شائع ہوئی ۔ میرا مقصد صرف بوسنیا کےمسلمانوں پر اس انتہائی مظالم کے وقت ان کے دکھ درد مین شریک ہونا اور اردو دان طبقہ کو اس خطہ کے مسلمانوں کے حالات سے آگاہ کرنا تھا ۔
" خوشی کی بات کہ محمد لئیق ندوی صاحب جو گزشتہ چند برسوں سے دوحہ قطر میں ایک عربی/انگریزی مترجم کے عہدے پر مامور ہیں ، نے پہلی بار اردو داں طبقہ کے لیے ایک ایسی کتاب کی تالیف کا فریضہ انجام دیا ہے جو خطہ بلقان اور بوسنیا ہرزگوینا کا مکمل تاریخی پس منظر بھی پیش کرتی ہے اور ایک حساس اور اچھے آدمی کے گوش نصیحت نیوش کے لیے بوسنیا و ہرزگوینا کے مظلوم کے عبرتناک احوال بھی سناتی ہے ۔

بوسنیائی اور کروشیائی تعلقات کی نوعیت اور یوگوسلاویہ اور روس کی نسبت سے بوسنیائی مسلمانوں کے کمیونزم کے ساتھ جو تجربات ہوئے ان کا احاطہ کرتے ہیں ۔
محمد لئیق ندوی نے ایک بڑا کام یہ انجام دیا ہے کہ کافی تلاش و تحقیق کے بعد اس سلسلے میں برطانوی موقف کی اس حد تک صراحت کردی ہے کہ برطانیہ کی لیبر پارٹی ، آزاد پارٹی اور کنزرویٹو پارٹی سبھی پارٹیوں کے نکتہ ہائے نظر واضح ہوگئے ہیں ۔ اس طرح انہوں نے کل مغربی برادری کی ذہنیت کو بے نقاب کرڈالا ہے ۔

Almighty Allah Challanged
the mankind in Holy Qur'an :
.Can NASA , ESA and space agencies of the world accept this challenge.
Blessed is He in Whose hand is Dominion and He over all things Hath Power -
He Who created Death and Life, He Who created seven heavens one above another; Thou canst see no fault (want of proportion) in Rahman's (Allah's) creation.So turn thy vision again
Seest thou any flaw ?
Then look again and again, thy sight will return unto thee weakend and made dim.
( Again turn thy vision a second time ; thy vision will come back to the dull and disconfited, in state of wom.)
Explanations:-
The seven heavens are arranged in layers one above another. There are seven heavens only, not infinite numbers of universe as the cosmologists say.
We are asked to observe , study and research the cosmology and go to deep insight it.And as minutely as our powers will allow with
the aid of advanced telescopes like Hubble.
The universe is so vast and stretches beyond our ken , that our eyes aided with the most powerful telescope will confess themselves defeated in trying to penetrate to the all regions of the universe.
It is over our own powers that we shall fìnd fail to go beyond a certain compass.
The universe is expanding faster than the speed of light. The universe is much larger that we can see it or go beyond or understand.
The
Who can challge the Mankind 1500 years ago? Can NASA,ESA and other space research agencies of the world accept this challnge of Almighty Allah.
How the scientists can reject the existence of Allah relying on their limited knowledge of the universe.
I see it is not justified at all.

EXPANDING UNIVERSE.
IN HOLY QUR'AN IS A SIGN OF ALLAH
Who can tell 1450 years ago that
the universe is expanding?
والسماء بنينها بايد و انا لموسعون o
" And the heaven We built it with power, and indeed, We are the expander "
(And We it is Who make the vast extent, thereof )
(Qur'an, 51:47)
Until 1931, physicist Albert Einstein believed that the universe was static. An urban legend attributes this change of perspective to when American astronomer Edwin Hubble showed Einstein his observations of redshift in the light emitted by far away nebulae - today known as galaxies.
After Hubble discovered that the universe was expanding, Einstein called the cosmological constant his "greatest blunder."
At around the same time, larger telescopes were being built that were able to accurately measure the spectra, or the intensity of light as a function of wavelength, of faint objects.
Almighty Allah is the Master Creator of the whole universe.He says:
Should He not know what He created? And He is the Subtile, the Aware.
The knowledge of scientists is very limited to understand the universe.
Rejection of Almighty Allah relying on this limited knowledge is not justified.
Almighty Allah says:
" We shall show them Our Signs on the horizons( feilds of vision) and within their ownselves,untill it becomes clear to them that He(Allah) is Truth.
Is it not enough that thy Lord
doth witness all things."
(Qur'an,41:53)
