    Good little intro to card making. I have the same folder tray you do. You may wish to consider getting a bone folder. To me, they feel a little smoother when running them along the paper than the default yellow knife does. (Though it obviously works). I'm not sure how many prints you get out of your cartridges for your printer, but should it break down on you for some reason you might want to consider the the Epson Ecotank 8500 or 8550. I enjoy mine very much. Canon also makes an intank type printer but I cannot speak to the quality etc.

      Unfortunately most of the time it’s fixed just with trial and error 😅 It might be the paper, the settings, or the file might need editing a bit first (I personally increase saturation and vibrancy +17 in Lightroom before printing). It’s really hard to say as there’s lots of variables 🙈

    • @AliceLadkin
      @AliceLadkin  Před 7 měsíci +1

      No backup printer but do have a backup plan - have 2 printers I’ve outsourced to before that I’d go to if the order was worthwhile (I outsource larger orders anyway). I also have some stock ready to go of my most popular cards. If things picked up to the point I was making 20+ orders a day, might look into another printer if it made sense. Most issues I can fix quickly, or if this one broke completely I’d just buy another asap. If there was a delay and things needed to come out quick, and for some reason I have no other option that suited, I’d just cancel the order, apologise + explain what happened 😂 No big issues as of yet tho and works fine for my side biz 😊
