I do something similar, but instead of putting it into neutral, I just stay on the brake pedal until after the handbrake is up and then put it in park, then ease of the pedal. Everybody keeps asking me why my handbrake is up. Fools.
I've gradually grown from just not caring about the Silvia platform to absolutely hating almost all of them. Genuinely hard for me to respect anyone who buys one. "It's a lifestyle bro" "just you wait" "... soon ..." Such degeneracy that the platform attracts. You gotta be a certain type of owner for me to respect any build on the platform. But hey, my opinion's just my shitty opinion, do whatever the fuck you want with your car.
Western Canada is usually OK as far as rust. They dont use road salt or brine in the winter. It's cars from Ontario and Quebec you don't want to buy, thats the canadian rust belt. The amount of salt on the road is absolutely ridiculous
When I park my Tacoma I put the Ebrake on. I also leave it unlocked sometimes so if anyone tries to get in and steal it I just hope they’re too dumb to read where it says “push off” on the foot ebrake lever
Why dont people modify and tune early 2000s rwd nissan frontiers?? They have the same running gear as a 240sx, are cheap and dont weigh much. Seems like an obvious and unique alternative to a S chassis plus you can haul stuff.
One more thing… Why do people buy a piece of shit version of a car they like? I’m not gonna get a 1500 dollar, rusted out 85 MR2 just cause I used to own one. What’s the point?
