I thought gun launched ATGMs were a Russian thing only other than some minimal American designs. This looks like a fun TD. I love how you incorporated the see through parts.

French never managed to fix the missile "dip". The pros of said solution is stable missile launches, lack of dip and essentially zero failure rate of missiles that actually fired. The cons is slight delay (We talk about 200ms) in actual launch and several sets of pants shat as defective missiles now had to be disposed of from their starting position (As opposed to butt clenching as defective missiles fly in the WRONG way).
It's rumored the Russians used those ATGM as a workaround because they couldn't figure out how to make the tanks aim as good as western models. And if you could fire a APDSFS instead you probably would do that (you can aim and fire a APDSFS round after the rocket has been fired at you, destroy the rocket tank and subsequently not get hit by the rocket - a problem with all kind of guided munitions. (and why Javelin and NLaw are so popular) the rule in dismounted anti tank warfare is to fire and then run as fast as you can to the next preparde position where you had the next At-Round ready, the expectation with unguided rounds was that you would miss or not knock out the tank. (also maximum range against a not moving tank was about 400 m with a lot of prayer)

As for tanks fighting tanks, it's neither desirable scenario (Because you are not supposed to fight things you have coin toss chances to lose against, war is not a game. It's a tactics applications so your troops had a lot of "killing rabbits with hammers" scenarios as opposed to "fair fights") nor it has anything to do with accuracy (Hate to ruin it for you, but you will be taught to shoot at the center of mass, with your ass being barred from shooting if you'll start playing hero. REGARDLESS of your results). Tanks move, your APFSDS does not adjust for that.
