This girl got lucky because robin never let girls sing unless you are the lead singer. Imagine being Kimberly, ashley, Jessica, and not sing in the records. That’s why GRL was successful really fast because all the girls sang parts.

Robin is very weird about PCD - even now she doesn't let Ashley/Jessica/Kim sing. However, all the other groups she has done had even the non-singers get vocals: Paradiso Girls had Kelly (the DJ) get audible backing vocals and Shar Mae (the dancer/rapper) got to sing too in the choruses. And of course Paula got to sing sometimes even though she's just a dancer, as shown in this video.
