Hyolyn is currently the best female vocalist the KPOP industry has to offer. No one comes close to her level or not active. Literally she’s able to hit all those notes still from over 10 years ago but even better and stronger.
She’s like the Korean version of Kelly Clarkson. Cuz both queens gets better instead of vocal declined. When 98% have a vocal decline.
This is my first time hearing her and my jaw is on the floor…how is she not Taylor swift level famous!?!?
I would say Ailee is closer to kelly clarkson but it's hard to call her active as she releases a single song every 2 years with no digital sells :|

I feel like crying and smiling at the same time hearing this songs, I'm a kpop multi-stan since the 2nd gen, and 2nd gen still my roman empire, it's the golden age of kpop. How I wish I could turn back time when Sistar, F(x), snsd, 2ne1,miss a, kara,t-ara, suju, tvxq, 2am, 2pm,bigbang, and many more legendary groups are still active.

I also came in at the 2ndGen, and they are my fave generation. Had the chance to see aroun 10 different artists/groups perform for free in 2011. Good times
2nd gen is the best era, multi fandom is real everybody happy with each other
I'm 55 year old white guy, and that generation was active when I first discovered Kpop. In a way I feel I was spoiled. There is still some good stuff today, but not as much as back then.
I’m 2nd gen too and I could barely listen to K-pop after that 😅. I just turned to k-rnb and hip hop after.

The best part of this session is to see how they are really enjoying this new era in their careers. Sometimes I think kpop is losing this type of charm and they now that are grown-ups and have this second chance value how meaningful is to be back! I love their vibe and their vocals!

How I missed them...Sistar is trully one of the best kpop groups and it shows because every single one of these songs are bops. Hopefully they'll give us a full group reunion in 2025 for their 15th anniversary
