Wait Wait Wait Wait....STOP A SECOND! ... You ONLY used a mechanic Pencil for this dark and very sharp lines?! This even darker then my Black Prismacolor x.x wtf is this magic?!
i tested many things to recreate this. I think its the paper he is useing
It could be the contrast in the video footage 👍
Its the contrast in the video otherwise its not possible, I drew the same using a mechanical pencil,.but the camera's contrast made it the same like this one.

i would say i'm not gifted when it comes to drawing, but no matter how hard i try, my lines always tend to get too dark or too light for a good piece. for example when i try to darken the pupill i do always fail, cause it simply looks more greyish afterwards rather than balck/dark grey.
the opposite goes for fur/hair. my lines are always to thick/dark to make good use of them

Thank you for posting all your amazing videos. I noticed that you use a mechanical pencil in all of your drawings. Do you ever use a range of values in graphite pencils or you just stick to the HB mechanical pencil?

Dear Chris, in the opening of this video you stated that all you needed was a pencil and paper to achieve this tiger eye drawing and I have both of these items and yet I am unable to produce a drawing that is anywhere close to the standard of your drawing and I know practice makes perfect but I don't have time for that.Thank you for you're time.
You said this is a regular mechanical pencil, but did you change out the lead? The shading is way too dark for just an HB... Please let me know!

Awesome suggestion. Thanks! :) I use HB hi-polymer leads for the shading. I recommend using a regular 6B pencil or a black prismacolor if you really want to add extra dark tones.

Hi Chris, this is a very beautiful draw but I have a question : how do you get that very black colour only by pressing more on your pencil ? I am trying as hard as i can but the area is still more like dark-grey (with little white points but that's might be due to my paper) and not a full deep black area. Do you have any tip for me to improve that ? Thank you
I have a 2 pencil so it's very hard to get the lines right without making it look like living hell. How can i fix it?

What is this mechanical pen??I have one for school but i cant draw with it ,it is nothing like this one. i cant make dark lines cuz it always brakes...

Hey Chris keep up the good work bro, I just want to say I got home from school and my living room window was broke open my whole family house has been robbed everything has been gone :( they hurt my little dog when we were gone for school my dog has a broken arm now but it's healing tho but me and my family are still ok I just wanted to say that to the people that came in and took everything and hurt my dog I just want till everybody have a nice day and wish that won't happen to you guys of what happen to me :(

This was great, but one thing you should probably do is give a second to show what you've done every time you do something that is at all significant, it was a bit difficult to follow because I had to pause very often, but otherwise it was amazing!
