You made this chase phenomenal Rowan. Your efforts really pay off with some incredible shots.
Ever since this video showed up in my recommendations recently I've been binge-watching your channel. There's no doubt you have a natural talent for producing and editing these videos. You take the viewer along for the ride of the chase, your enthusiasm and excitement for railfanning are infectious and there's few people in this world who can ad-lib to viewers through just a camera lens as well as you do.
The best part is you got me motivated to start railfaning again for the first time in almost ten years.
Rowan your channel isn't just great CZcams content, its great reality TV.

Thanks for the kind words Thomas I appreciate it thanks for the view
I saw the NKP 8100 in Bellevue, Ohio, in August of 2016, and four years later (August of 2020), I saw (and recorded) the SOU 8099 leading a freight into the yard there.
In addition, I've seen three of the SD70ACe's - VGN 1069, CNJ 1071, and DL&W 1074. Oddly enough, they were on CSX (not NS) freight trains on the New Castle Sub between Creston and Rittman, Ohio.
Did you know that Norfolk southern 8099 was involved of a derailment in petsbrug Pennsylvania I have no clue what time it happened
@@jacobdubielak2699 It happened December 6th, 2021, in Homestead, PA, which is outside of Pittsburgh. The 8099 hit a rockslide and wound up on its left side. As of now, it's still stored in Altoona, and if it is repaired, it's unknown if it will stay in its SOU paint scheme or if it'll be repainted into the standard 'horsehead' scheme.
@Kevin Baker I remember that accident I was worried that Norfolk southern would get rid of Norfolk southern 8099 southern railroad heritage unit
NICE CATCH!! i caught ns 8114 and 8103 on 12R and 4000 and 8103 on video then i caught 8100 and 1073 on 740
Nice catch Rowan! Really hoping to see both of the units to!
Outstanding video!
