Great video Darren, what an awesome trip and cool trails. Great ride and awesome footage. See you soon mate✌
Great riding Darren & good that it was dry helped & gave you confidence 😉 Christoph's endo turns are getting good 👊
Cheers Dave. Dry conditions are must for this one. Christoph’s been practicing those endo turns a lot recently and it shows!
Nice work Darren... And really pretty valley! Thise tight switchies hanging thier asses off the cliff like that don't really leave you much room to "go wide"... Nice job on them!!
Cheers Phil 👍 It's one for lovers of steep tech for sure 😉 You don't have to stray far from the trail to find a life changing/ending drop. Not exposed, but it's close!
Even on camera these corners look scary. Really tight and quite the drop :O
It was a real challenge this one. There are some absolutely massive/ life ending drops, but thankfully they are just far enough away from the trail for you to able to ignore them.
Getting some practice in for the next Trail Taxi day in the Valais I see! Nice area that is, added it to the to-do list for this summer!
Always working on those switchbacks 😉 I've still got some exploring to do up there. It looks like there's another way down from the top. I'll let you know if I find anything.
nice one Darren👍🏽 you know I don't particularly like trails like that.BUT......At the moment I would like to ride any trail again🤷♂🙈🤣🤣
Nice one Darren a shame I missed out on that one looked like good switch back training 😊
Don’t worry Gav. There’s still more to explore on that hill 😉
I always walk exposed bits as well. A healthy fear of certain demise is beneficial to maintaining life sometimes. Great day out man. Enjoyed it while doing boring paper work.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍I became an old mountain biker by surviving being a young mountain biker!
Need to revisit this one as well, been a while...
Definitely worth it 👍 You need to let the weather come to you though. No good rushing it and riding poor conditions. We had 2 warm (18 degree) days before we went and it worked out a treat.
Niiiiice Chris with the endo turns in the switchbacks!!! 😯🤩👍
great video and trails, that view at 9:25 is crazy 🤩
btw is it actually called matlusch"head" in swiss german? or is that your transliteration 😁
Yea. Christoph was on fire with the endo turns on that day 💪 There are a ton of good views from up there. The reason for the funny name is because someone decided to call the trail that name on Trailforks 😉
You have so great trails in your area 😍😍
Nice video
But someone of you need wd40 oil for his break 😂😂
Thanks for the tip Marco, I’ll remember to put plenty of WD40 on the brakes next time they squeak 🤣🤣
I really enjoyed this video. Plenty of good trails and some "hairy" moments sprinkled in. Well done riding it in springtime conditions.👌👌
Thank you. I was a little concerned it would be too long. But when I watched back, there just didn’t feel like there was much to cut.
