    Full script:
The “New philosophers”, those willing to go where no soul has wandered, are required for the “Big Hunt”. Scholars, who are otherwise serviceable, buckle at the knee when faced with homines religiosi and the problem of knowledge and conscience its existence brings forth (humanity’s great dangers). To observe the history of religions, one needs a profound and bruised intellectual conscience allied with a wicked spirituality, floating far above the mass with a clear view of it. We cannot rely on academics: “One must do everything oneself in order to know something, meaning that one has much to do.”
Faith, such as desired by early Christianity, was not that sincere and austere “slave-faith”, but a continuous suicide of reason. It is a choice made in opposition with our most basic instincts, that needs always reaffirmed, as the self regularly attempts to revolt from this subjection, defined as “the sacrifice of all freedom, all pride, all self-confidence of spirit.” There is cruelty in the Christian faith, as it subjects the soul to much fastidiousness, with the explicit intent of being painful to a spirit which suffers from the absurdist exercise, and by way of consequences comes to perceive its reward. Modern men have lost the blueprints of this internal struggle, the image of “God on the Cross” only seen as a figurative event instead of the allegorical representation of illogical acceptance it figures, and the transvaluation of all ancient values it attempted (for a world reborn, an “After Christ”.) This ideological struggle of the self against its alienation (which kept faith vibrant) was replaced by its stagnating counterpart, fruit of the “Oriental slave”, who took revenge against his Roman masters by trans mutating which was really a “non-faith” into an absolute. Freedom from the faith and the ability to see its absurdity caused the slave to revolt, he who can only tolerate the tyrannous, even in beliefs, and for whom the unconditioned is the only liberty he tolerates: “Even in morals, he loves as he hates, without nuance.”
“Enlightenment causes revolt”: the gained awareness of their lowly position was made intolerable “by the noble taste which seems to deny suffering.” Both in Stoicism or the ancient faith, pain is seen as natural, and therefor must be accepted; this a slave cannot accept, because his life is nothing but pain. Thus starts the morality revolt, a slave insurrection initiated by the Juice, a people “born for slavery”, whose existence on Earth can be summed up to their tribulations, and which quite naturally gave birth to an inversion of valuations, where poor means rich and reproaches towards human existence abound. This skepticism towards suffering which characterizes aristocratic morality gives birth to revolutions; likewise, it is the exaltation of other natural inclinations that lead to religious neurosis, that manifests under solitude, abstinence, and fasting. One cannot tell if the temptation is the cause of the penance, or its effect, pointing to a human tendency for extreme sensuality suddenly turned into world renunciation. From this terrible confrontation came religious crisis: the mystery of the saint and of his will negation.
The mightiest men buckle before this enigma of voluntary privation: Kings, Princes and Knights bow in front of the priest. They saw in him something greater than their strength, puzzled by the will to no will, so opposed to their own will to power. Superior forces always search for their match, and God constituted one they could never hope to beat. It takes will to have none; In that, they also recognized their own honor, and so by honoring the priest, they honored themselves. Voluntary humiliation in the face of God made faith the ultimate sacrifice, one that modern men cannot understand, as mediocrity as become their blood and humiliation their oxygen; in becoming humble, they lost their bond with God.

It’s good to see your channel still going man. I was commenting on your very first videos as I was a natural strongman and we was having some good discussions (upto 3 years ago now). I was on a different account back then but it’s nice to see you still going and keeping the content flowing.
It is my understanding, from my own tesitomony as an athiest to a born again believer in Jesus. The Bible teaches us we are saved through faith, not by works. This means Christianity is not a religion as faith in God doesn’t require works. If for example you must outwardly act in order to atone for sin, this is works (Mosiac law, Koran etc), this is religion. Having faith in Jesus is not religion. I know many who have a view on Christianity that differs with what those that understand the Bible actually says what being a Christian is, but that is fine also. We accept people for who they are and just try set standards of what the New Testament instructs us to be like, loving folk, although we all fall short.

I refused due to my already failing health. Heart disease and lupus. I’m on a ton of medications already. Including blood thinners. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my two autistic children both are non verbal. I’m so overwhelmed because they are special needs. My husband passed away three years ago so I’m all alone. My situation already has me down, and depressed. I have been called horrible names and mocked because of my circumstances. This month me and my boys are facing homelessness if I can’t come up with the rest of the rent. Every month is a struggle. But I have so much faith that God will provide for me and my children in Jesus name. FAITH OVER FEAR! God hears our prayers so please pray for me.

But living well means more than merely correctly solving a mathematical equation. So I find the idea of a "something greater" - even if we can never know for sure what qualities or properties this entity possesses - immensely appealing. The traditional religious offerings leave me severely underwhelmed, so the long search continues...

10:25-20:44 I respectfully disagree. The point makes some sense if you go by a broader definition of faith. I do agree that faith is painful. In fact, Jesus says in Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." The narrow gate leads to a “hard” road, one that will take us through hardships and difficult decisions. It requires the believer to crucify himself, endure trials with Christlike patience, and live a lifestyle seperate from the world. Human nature gravitates toward comfort and pleasure. When faced with the reality of denying themselves to follow Jesus, most people turn away. However, faith is not the mutilation of reason or the rejection of it or believing in something even if there is no evidence for it. Saint Augustine stressed "Fides quaerens intellectum" meaning "faith seeking understanding" or "faith seeking intelligence". This means by nature itself faith seeks understanding. The Greek word for faith used in the New Testament is 'pistis'. Which means loyalty or assurance on something. It is very similar to the idea of being loyal or having trust in something or someone NOT that which is used as a means to form trust in something or someone. Acts 17:31 says "because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given *assurance* (pistin) to all by raising him from the dead.” Notice, in this verse, pistis is the assurance we have in the future promises which results from the evidence of the resurrection of Christ. Faith isn't the absence of evidence/understanding/reason it is what results from evidence/understanding/reason. I have faith that I will not be stabbed while walking down the street because there is good reason to believe that most people are not psycho-killers out for blood or at least fear the consequences of the law. Thus, faith is not the absence of reason it is the result of reason. If you read the New Testament, no one gives their personal feelings or personal faith as a reason to believe in Jesus. They appeal to the evidence so that people will place their faith in Christ. In John 14:11 Jesus tells his disciples to have faith in him based on the works they have seen him do. Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed by lack of knowledge..."; Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord..."; 1 Peter 3:15 "always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you".

47 mins in, so im not sure if you further expand on this point.
I have known since school when reading dystopian literature that humans need struggle in order to thrive, we need an uphill battle otherwise the balance is off, my thinking is based on the Time Machine and what we see today, but i could never put it into words.
With this idea from Nietzsche, is there merit or does it make sense to say that if the natural human temptation is to make things easier, to default to the path of least resistance, as is the case in nature, it is the role of Religion/spirituality to temper this with struggle. The ascetic endeavour simply balances out the individual to not succumb to our primal needs and instead aim higher, in this sense raising the individual from humanity in the image of god. something akin to the Ubermensch
please if there is any holes in my thinking point them out! I feel so good to be able to articulate this notion I have had for years

When I see Him, I will fall down in prostration before Him, and will remain in prostration as long as He will, and then He will say, ‘RAISE YOUR HEAD, O MUHAMMAD, AND SPEAK, FOR YOU WILL BE LISTENED TO, AND INTERCEDE, FOR YOUR INTERCESSION WILL BE ACCEPTED, AND ASK, FOR YOUR REQUEST WILL BE GRANTED.’ (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 97, Number 532
(O Allah, I ask of You and I turn my face towards You BY VIRTUE OF THE INTERCESSION OF MUHAMMAD THE PROPHET OF MERCY. O MUHAMMAD, I have turned to my Lord BY VIRTUE OF YOUR INTERCESSION concerning this need of mine, so that it may be met. O Allah, accept HIS INTERCESSION concerning me)”. (SAHIH) (English Translation of Sunan Ibn Majah: Compiled by Imam Muhammad Bin Yazeed Ibn Majah Al-Qazwini, Ahadith edited and referenced by Hafiz Abu Tahir Zubair 'Ali Za'i, translated by Nasiruddin al-Khattab (Canada), final review by Abu Khaliyl (USA) [Darussalam Publications and Distributors, First Edition: June 2007], Volume 2, From Hadith no. 803 to 1782, 5. The Chapters Of Establishing The Prayer And The Sunnah Regarding Them, Chapter 189. What Was Narrated Concerning Prayer At Times Of Need, pp. 329-330
If you are wondering how this makes Allah a Mushrik and a Kafir, the answer is simple: By accepting Muhammad’s Intercession Allah is actually encouraging his followers to turn to a Creature for Salvation, thereby violating his very own instructions as found in both the Quran and specific ahadith.
In other words, Allah is actually encouraging and promoting shirk!
Place your faith in the real God Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you will not perish.
      Have a good day.

Every time you believe what is written in a centuries old historical text you are exercising faith, all the more so when their are things in the text that defy our empirical understanding of the world in many ways.

why is empirical the only standard? Do you believe lgbt is okay and is that on an empirical basis? Is the law of non-contradiction based on an empirical understanding? Nothing in the Qur'an can go against the Truth as it's from God.
So you have faith in all of history, does the hcaust require faith? @@tangerinesarebetterthanora7060
