  • Hi everyone,
This week I have two Veto tool bags to take a look at, the DR-XL and TP-LC.

DR-XL loadout with test equipment 12:41
    TP-LC first look 15:01
    TP-LC loadout 21:44
Epicair have sent me these two bags, click the link below and check out their spring deals.

The DR-XL is a very customisable drill bag that can be loaded out for various different trades. The external pockets offer more than enough storage for drill bits, screwdrivers, chisels, pliers and a gaggle of other hand tools.
    DR-XL Specifications -
    Width 229mm (9")
    Length 406mm (16”)
    Height 292mm (11.5” - handle folded down)

    Pocket Count 33
    Vertical Tool Pockets 30 exterior
    D-Rings 4 large

    Customizable Tool Storage Panels
    Quick Access Velcro Pocket
    Leather Grips and Trim

    H29.5 X L40.5 X W23 cm
    ‐-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The TP-LC is the smaller brother (or sister) to the TP-XL and TP-XXL. This smaller bag still packs a punch when it comes to carrying hand tools. In the video I load it out pretty well but as you know, you can keep going with these bags.
    TP-LC Specifications-

    14 External pockets
    2 Metal tape clip holders
    “Hang-up” hook
Tarpaulin covered rear pocket for added weather & abrasion protection

    YKK® zippers
Waterproof Polypropylene plastic base for moisture and abrasion protection
Built to last, it is supplied with the ultimate vote of confidence - a 5 Year warranty

I got the TP-LC in the EpicAir promotion when I bought the OT-LC (after seeing your review 👌). Definitely a well made bag. I’ve not decided how I’m going to use it yet, as the bigger bag holds most things I need. One idea I’ve had is to load it out with a few basic tools and just keep it in the boot of the car for emergencies.
Great review as always James 👍

Thanks for watching 👍🏻 glad you liked the review. Do you have other Vetos ?

@@JBE yes, I have the Tech MCT. It’s a good bag. Compact, but with plenty of storage. But I found I preferred an open-tote style, so went for the OT-LC after watching your review.

Very nice, that DR bag worked out quite well for a tester bag. Thanks for the video.

Due to the weight of the bag being nice and light to start with, it's very much up to the task.

    Your review is excellent!
You take the time to show the details of the bags clearly.

Really keen to get one of the LCs for spring promo! Nice review/Loadout as always

It's great for a quick grab bag or as I'm using it, a smaller version of my TP-XXL. We all know those things can get very heavy! Especially your Dave 😳💪🏻.

@@JBE mine is literally unmanageable 😂😂

  • @activateelectrical1720

I reckon that would make a good test meter bag.

I tried using the tpxxl to take the place of my ot-Lc but wasn’t big enough gonna pick up the tp-l lc as a secondary bag for smaller jobs

Check out stealth mounts, have them in my workshop to tidy up my makita batteries. The bag looks like a decent investment over my usual hessian bag for life

I use the dr-XL for my test kit. A meggar fits in nicely alongside a veto grubber bag which houses my test leads and prongs and then my wander lead fits in with a bit of jigging the Velcro bottom bits. Find it easier to use than the MB3B

    • @JBE
      @JBE  Před 2 lety

100% Barry 👍🏻. The grubber bag does fit well in here and I honestly think it makes a great test kit bag.

Do a iPad fit the small bag back

No it doesn't. For that you'll need the TP-XL or TP-XXL
