In Eiji's mind, Ash was always someone smarter, bigger and stronger than him. Yet, he always felt a need to protect him; To protect Ash from fate that tries to drift him further and further away...
In Ash's mind, he finally understood. When Eiji is by his side, his kindness, honesty and warmth flows through him, and should he come to Eiji in torn pieces...Eiji makes him whole again.
As the story of these two individuals comes to a closure, Eiji pens down a letter to his dear best friend; "My soul is always with you"

This is the saddest video I've seen today.. It's too sad at 1:03 Ash knows if he servive this time he wouldn't really live too long, there's alot of scenes like those in the entire anime when Ash talks about death, when you realize he call everyone oldy, you know he wouldn't live for too long
