If you stay in Aliabad or Ganish, which are a 20-minute drive from Karimabad in Hunza, you will find very good and economical hotels in the range of Rs 4000 to 8000. However, if you stay in the main Karimabad area, the hotels are more expensive and not as good compared to those in Ganish or Aliabad. I recommend the Karavan-e-Sarai hotel in Ganish, located in front of the GO Petrol Pump. It is a very nice hotel with good services, and you will enjoy your stay there.

If you start your journey from Islamabad and take the route via Babuser Top, making 2 or 3 stops along the way, it will typically take you around 15 hours to reach Gilgit from Islamabad.
On the other hand, if you choose to travel through the Beshaam side, again making 2 or 3 stops during the journey, it will usually take you about 20 hours to reach Gilgit from Islamabad.
These travel times may vary depending on factors like road conditions, weather, and the duration of your stops.
