Hortensia is my all time favorite Stamperia paper collection...Any project made from these designer papers will be beautiful! Love all your elevations and layering...so dramatic on a card. I'm not a fam of slimline shape...this design will be easy to adapt to other shapes. Lovely cards!!

Love these shabby chic cards. When I used to scrapbook at Friday night 6 hour events, I would notice ladies around me slapping photos onto pages and adding one store bought embellishment. The goal for them was to make as many pages as possible, as if it was a competition, and for them I think it was. They savored the time away from the kids and hubby but it was imperative that they be productive which I understood. But I never took that approach. The midnight hour would find me still pondering about paper selections, placement and the creation of my own custom embellishments. I enjoyed the journey, never the rush to get the page done. When I see you playing with the flowers and seam binding ribbon, I know that you also delight in the process. In that small way, we are kindred spirits. Thanks for the inspiration.
