My guess is this white belt is a colored belt holder in some other Karate (such as shotokan) but he is a white belt in Kyokushin Karate. The black belt dude, his form and technique looks really good. I guess that is how Kyokushin Karate should look. Form is also very important to deliver the proper technique.
Very impressed with the black belt here. He has great control, no ego, able to push his sparring partner without being overly aggressive. I would value him as a high quality sparring partner

They are training for bare knuckles competitions which don't use gloves and knuckles are sharp and cause cuts and illnesses if you want face punches watch kudo

And the other 5% wins in a fight no matter how tall they are, those are the specialists in kyokushinkai fighting. No clinching and hand strikes to the face in Kyokushin means that a shorter man has less options when it comes to knocking out a taller opponent quickly, and the taller opponent has an easier time reaching the head with strong kicks. In Shotokan, it's more so that the point based rulesets and stance generally bias longer fighters by default of their reach advantage and not having the need to generate as much power whilst also having the superior leverages.

Kyokushin teaches more kicks than Muay Thai like the sidekick, hook kick, axe kick, and more. They also have spinning kicks and high kicks. Another thing, their round kick is different from the way Muay Thai does it

Because Mas Oyama when they were allowed to punch to the head no gloves they had broken hands, jaws and bruises and was losing a lot of students but there is Shinken Shobu from the Kyokushin Kan organisation, you are allowed face punches, elbows and takedowns

If kyokushin fights in the street we just go full blast face punches, grab knee and elbows and if necessary heavy kicks. We can go full blast for a full minute without getting tired and we are strong. Also if you are a kyokushin fighter like me you probably trained kickboxing for few months/years so blocks and headmovements come natural. Kyokushin isnt the best martial art ever for sure, but when you get to a high level and you do tournements you can fight against other martial arts, and street fight isnt a problem at all ! We are full contact fighters after all
He wasn't beat up at all and also he is not a newbie despite that he is a white belt he has years of experience in kickboxing. You can clearly see the control and safe sparring.

But I'm kyokushin they spar against white belt and motivate and also humble them. I think it is special to kyokushin. I was just thinking of my sparring with a black belt when I was yellow.
This is just roundhouse then the other guy round houses back then repeat with some pointless body punches. Karate needs to incorporate proper western boxing training into sessions.
