You must be my soul sister, I pack just like you do. I love my packing cubes, the wash cloth and face towel are always a must for me. I bring wipes for the plane and room as well, though. The casual clothing choices were definitely helpful, leaving for Kaua'i in less than a week. Thank you for your suggestions.

Awesome video Steph. Lots of great information on how to pack lite for Hawaii. Being a guy, I can get away with about half of what you packed...lol. @Silvia Hoard We stayed at the Ala Moana Honolulu by Mantra on one trip and the Aston Waikiki Sunset on our last trip in 2019.
@Silvia Hoard so many LOL. Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and Sharks Cove, Kualoa Ranch tour (Jurassic Park and more movies filmed there), Pearl Harbor, Manoa Falls hike, Waimea valley, lots of food in Haleiwa on the north shore. Watch as many videos on here as you can to find out more. It is an easy island to get around so you can do a lot.
@Silvia Hoard No problem at all. We rent a car every time we go. Right now the rental rates are high but normally they are not bad for an economy rental (cheaper that taxi or Uber because you will want to get around a lot).
@Silvia Hoard We will be going back to Maui on our next trip to the islands just as soon as traveling gets back to some sort of normalcy.

this video just helped me out so much! i leave for Hawaii in 10 days & im starting to pack. however, i’m an overpacker & don’t think that i’m fitting everything in my carry on lol. going to go watch a ton more of your videos!
All of those liquids can not be in that toiletry kit in a carry on? Unless you are going to check your small carry on bag? A bit confused?

If you do carry on only how do you get away with the liquids like that for the 3-1-1 rule?! I've seen some flexibility on bag size but they always have to be combined in to one clear container.
That's when CZcamsrs lose credibility with me.
Visit lanikai beach...and there’s also a super cool market there in Kailua called kalapawai market that you should check out....And there’s also a really cool bird sanctuary up at ka’ena point on the far northeast side of the island and there’s a beautiful beach up that way as well , keawaula beach....it’s away from all the touristy stuff and you’ll definitely thank me....Have fun, I’m jealous 😃✌🏽
Did you have any issues with all of those liquid toiletries/first aid products not being saparated in a quart bag? I am going to Maui in september so I've watched several videos.. None of them have packed their liquids separately..

I was reading Hawaiian airlines and it says that the limit for cosmetics is 100ml. This is still correct? I noticed you said the TSA is 3oz. Please help this is my first time traveling to Hawaiian @stephtaylerlive
When ever, I pack , I always say “ with the power of packing, I shell pack “name of the item” in a superhero voice lol 😂 🤔 it takes a while to pack but it’ makes packing fun.

Your video was very enlightening, informative and enjoyable, I noticed everything you packed was geared toward tiny people. What about men with larger, shoes, women with a large bust? We would probably need a carry-on and a checked bag huh?
You must not be doing a carry on, because they only allow one clear bag of liquids/creams😩

OK, I’m not even gonna bother watching this video. I assumed you were going to show all the things you were bringing so we could see what kind of stuff we should bring not just how to roll something up and stick it in the suitcase.
Using large packing cubes in a carry on defeats the object of using them! so not a good start! rolling tighter and neater in small and medium cubes, compression cubes and ziplock bags is key to packing correctly! keep cubes and toiletry bags as flat as possible! why keep the mistakes in the video? you put way too many liquids in! you are allowed one litre in total, even if you stupidly put a tiny amount of product in a large container that is even included in the liquids rule! then you added more in the first aid kit and your make up!

The most heaviest material not to take to Hawaii . Need to take linen, cotton , and the best cotton is Bamboo Cotton, plus jeans takes a lot more room when your packing with a carry on .
