    LR's strong support of Equestrian events is why I have remained loyal to the brand and continue to own Range Rovers.
    Thank you!

    i think this is great, they are the main sponsors or a lot of the top horse shows, this is far from horsing around this is peoples livelihoods, this video reaches out to one of Land Rovers main market segments as most horse riders will have land rovers, so i am led to believe that very few land rover owners would not be interested in what land rover does as a company not only as a car manufacturer. it is so much more than that it really supports a whole sport. its not just a car company.

    Eventing isn't the only sport where men and women compete equally. All equestrian sports combine men and women in competing classes - vaulting, show jumping, hunters, reining, etc., etc.

      Beata Shysmith show jumping is it's own entire sport. It's a completely different sport than eventing is considered. I'm guessing you're not very knowledgeable in the horse department...

    Did anyone else notice that for most of the time the horses’ ears were forward, which meant they were enjoying it.

    0:22 I cringed so much...why- why do people even think its a good idea to use a whip? your putting your horse in pain; not making it go faster. its going as fast as it can so just stop? people think their skin is thick right there but its rly not. its painful. whips/crops are made as an extension of your hand so use it that way.

      Caitlin Pierce because it's unfair. If you got beaten constantly how would you feel? Horses and riders die on these courses and that's cause riders either don't listen to what their mount is trying to say and only care about winning. I assume u only care about winning if ur not bothered about the horse being whipped

    • @aidamcewen6884
      @aidamcewen6884 Před 3 lety

      Also it's been completely proven that using a whip has no effect on speed or whether they actually take the jump or not. I have no issue with ethical precise whip use but relying on one to scare your horse into jumps is not a good method.

    0:22 oh god why
    If you have to carry a whip to control a horse then you're not a very good rider

    • @borderlinewack
      @borderlinewack Před 6 lety +1

      Mane Equines how? 😂
      If you can't use your legs then hurt the horse right? I get it, I carry a whip because if they disobey I put the whip on their skin so they can feel it and speed up, if that doesn't work then I hit my shoes and the last thing I do is tap them with a whip/not really hit them. These jockeys are smacking their horses and it's disgusting. They don't even use their legs

      "If you have to carry a whip to control a horse then you're not a very good rider" That's were you are wrong, my horse is very slow and I don't really like spurs, I use a whip. That doesn't make me a bad rider due to a whip.

    In what way is this related to the Land Rover brand, as a vehicle manufacturer? Yes, it's well put together and the horses look nice, but IMO, when people subscribe to a car channel like Land Rover's, they expect car videos and news, not horses 'horsing' around.
    As one of Land Rover's biggest fans, I have to say I had different expectations for what this channel would be about..
    I love LR, just keep up with more videos about the new, gorgeous, RR. No more horses, please.

    not one black person in the whole video. what does that say? I know it doesn't have to be about race all the time, but it seems like a whole Market of people are unrealized. you don't have to own a horse to like to watch the sport.

    • @eleanorleeson4457
      @eleanorleeson4457 Před 7 lety +11

      are you saying that there were no black riders? or that there was no body interviewed who happened to be black? That's not necessarily a conscious choice by the editor, you do realise. Maybe there are just more Caucasian's in the sport than there are people of African descent? I don't know. Don't make it a race issue when it's about the horses, not the people.

      Just shut up please. You rarely see black riders. Do they need to get impersonators because you dont see someone that's black? No. It's not their fault that they had to find a olympic rider that wants to be interviewed. They dont look at skin color. Please just go with your racist stuff to somewhere else. You cant even say something anymore or it is 'racist' like im so sick of that shit.

      Ok I'm a black rider but I'm not at that level. The point of the sport is rider and horse not race. It is also a predominantly a rich white sport at the moment which is turning around. You have Donna Cheek
