Yup. So good. Had the pleasure of seeing him when Def Leppard opened for him on their “Pyromania” tour. That was an incredible night. My friend got us up front to stand on the second row of floor seats. We had floor seats, but farther back. She was cute. I was just along for the ride. 😂 Also stood next to Peter Frampton for a bit. Total vibe, cool guy. Great night. 💜💜💜

Thanks for another great reaction! Billy Squire was a huge hit with the ladies back when I was in college. All of his songs were great and we would listen to whole sides of his albums at a sitting. I remember a group of my friends and I going to a concert and he really had the whole audience going including a group of much older woman that liked him too.
I am 65 years old and I remember when Billy Squier was interviewed about this song on the radio. People back then mistakenly thought it was about a sexual act, but it isn’t. He said it is about how people had to stroke the egos of their bosses in order to get ahead, especially the record executives! Back in those days those record executives totally controlled ALL music. Not like it is today with the internet. But he said it’s that way in all big companies. It isn’t what you know, it’s who you blow! As a retired federal employee I can tell you that he is 100% true! That military music at the end is what they used to play to depict Russian laborers working hard with no reward. You kind of have to be from his and my generation for that to make sense. Listen to the words again with that idea in mind and it all falls into place. ✌️ brother!
