Sick Of It is one of Rise’s best songs for 2 reasons.
1. It’s just generally a good song. The beat is strong, the vocals are spectacular and that ending is such a conclusion.
2. It’s message. Sick of depression, sick of being powerless, sick of not having a word in it. This is such a powerful song to listen to if you’re going through tough times because of how DAMN RELATABLE IT IS. We’ve all had our tough times of despair, hatred and thoughts of suicide, so let’s all raise our hands and rock our heads to this wonderful song.

I’m sick of drug addiction. I saw you guys a couple weeks ago (01/05/18) at winter Jam. You played this song, and I broke down in tears (as I did the entire performance lol) Skillet is the reason why I am still alive. Skillet is the reason why I gave my life back to God. Skillet is the reason why I am 3 months clean from pills, and almost 8 months clean from cocaine. I had urges all of the time until I gave my life back to Christ on 01/01/18. Then at winter Jam, I met Pastor Bobby Joiner, and he prayed over me as he saw me crying. I haven’t had an urge since.
