This is a bit sad, but kind of true. I miss those days. But at the same time, it's not that hard for me to tap into that six year old version of myself, because she's still in there. I always try to keep some part of my child-at-heart aspect alive, whether that's re-watching a childhood movie or tv show, or doing something just for creative fun. Childhood itself is such a simple time, but it's also the time when the most damage can be done because our brains are so new.

Lol do you know what teachers do on summer “vacation?” Mandatory training, putting together 10 months of lesson plans, shopping for classroom supplies, and mounds of paperwork. I had more paperwork as a teacher and I work in insurance now LOL PLUS, it’s not really unpaid or vacation, a lot of us choose to take smaller paychecks during the year to spread it out over all 52 weeks, so when it comes down to it, they never get any time off.
