Regarding the packaged ramen take, I can _sort of_ see where she's coming from. If you draw an analogue and think of it as "on any given day, would I rather eat an expensive restaurant grade burger, or a Big Mac?" Even if I acknowledge the restaurant burger is objectively better in every measurable way, most days I just feel like eating the trash fast food burger.

For me, I enjoy McDonald's, Jack in the Box, and What-A-Burger. I especially love What-A-Burger's jalapenos burger, and the chicken strip, french fries, and white gravy. I also like the McDonald's sprite lol, all joking aside, their nuggets are good too. And I also enjoy Jack in the Box's tacos, and burgers, especially their curly fries

Personally, the best bowl of asian noodles I ever had was some chilled udon on a scorching hot day, that shit was a blessing.

I'm OK with ginger as a flavouring as long as it isn't too strong. Don't like straight ginger but I can tolerate it if it isn't very strong in other stuff.

I only consume ginger if it as a herbal drink, and still not really a fan of that. I drink that just for health reasons. It's really good to warm your throat

For me, Chocolate ice cream isnt particularly “bad”. I just think vanilla is 100 times better.

Ive done exactly the same with instant ramen by adding shredded cheese. You’re not alone. Add some green onion, soy sauce and an egg and that shit slaps
