Usually I agree but let's say hypothetically her $1000 was able to get 200 shirts made and they sell for $40 or even $25 which is reasonable, that's $5000 minimum and she walks away with $2000 and he has $3000 left at minimum. In this line of businesses it can be done, especially since he had bad credit to fund his business himself because that would have really been the way to go for him. He should have charged it.
Her problem was that she should have vetted him more thoroughly and checked his track record on previous sales and his prior marketing and branding efforts to which she would have saw that he doesn't have what it takes to move product in order to get her money back.

I'm not sure I believe that he's had other shirts even produced cause, you going to a place like "shirt smith", and expecting to get 600 printed that day is beyond ridiculous. This stuff is scheduled weeks ahead of time. 25 shirts being produced especially if they are only pressing them would take only an hour or so. Pressed on is a vinyl sticker smashed and heated onto the shirt it's self, now screen printing can take a lot of time it depends on how many colors and if they need a flashing. For more questions or if you need a few dozen shirts made contact. "Shirt Smith" they are the very best!
