I used to listen to this cover all the time in high school, but I ended up losing the link and forgot about it entirely. I'm so gkad I found it again and only wish this version of the song was on spotify. So great to hear again though!
It is said that the final boss for FF6 is supposed to represent the Divine Comedy, and Dante's(The Hero's) journey thru Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven. When Dante (the hero's) reach God(Kefka), it is there that God (Kefka)bestows unto Dante(The Hero's) the secret of life. In this case Kefka tells them "Oblivion" :D
Absolutely amazing! This is my favorite version of this song! So much was put into this song that I believe that if they remade FF VI that this version should be played at the fight with kefka!! Who's with me on my opinion?
Ok. After re-listening to this version a few times, I have to agree :D It trumps the Prancing Dad version, and my favorite are definitely this one, and the Distant Worlds version. :)
God I love this one, how the kefkasque theme is built into the track now and then. Almost overdone, but yet lovely. Thanks for the upload and N3bu14Gr4y; that is highly pathological, makes no sense at all to rid the world of all your reproductive opportunities, rape everyone in each village in (most likely it was him that alot of us originates from in a higher degree than the "first" homo sapien) Ghengis Khan style.
Fucking Shit! And I mean that in a good way! I don't normally leave a like when listening to random music, but for this one, well... you deserve one! There you go. Liked and Commented! Thank you for blessing my ears!
I know now. But I found a solution for myself to forget those godawful lyrics. I just cut out the One Winged Angel parts of the songs and the part with the 'nyah nyah nyah-nyah nyah' on guitar. Since the rest of the lyrics aren't clear enough to be heard properly, I can imagine them going a bit differently.
Hm... Although, you know a song is going to have problems if you have to mentally block out the lyrics... I feel that if they hadn't put lyrics in, it would have been a better piece altogether... But alas, they had to put in their "humor"... Which honestly sours the whole thing for me. Crude humor that doesn't even relate to the song, and a piece like Dancing Mad don't mix well at all. I think the remix in this video, and the Distant Worlds Orchestra ones are my favorites for Dancing Mad.
one day.... there just might be a mad man who would love to watch the world burn like insects to a magnifying glass and mock even the greatest of Higher Powers ;)
AWESOME! You know what this cover of Dancing Mad sounds like to me. It sounds like a group collaboration of Sonata Arctica + Galneryus + Trans Siberian Orchestra. Well done!
It's not a bad rendition, but, in my opinion, you butchered the fourth part. You changed it around too much, tried to put too much an original spin to it to where the initial feeling was ruined. The earlier parts were pretty good, it's not bad for a remix.

3rd Tier: 4:34
4th Tier: 6:08
Idk if this was done for this version, but there you go
That's 4th Tier Intro, 4th Tier in fact starts at 6:41
I think you might mean "movements" ..

Nah it's the tiers of the Statue Of The Gods.
The coolest remix of Dancing Mad Ever! And that is saying something!
Never mind. Heard Prancing dad remix, so EPIC!

Tier 2 started: Uhm
20 seconds later: OMG THIS IS GREAT
I really like the staggering into each section ^_^
Finally Tier 2 gets the clown sounding justice it deserves!
Just astonishing ... i heard countless versions and this is maybe even #1
Awesome cover. This deserves more views !!!
Takes one of the greatest masterpieces of VGM to new levels. Bravo!
Yay to this gig. Thanks.

0:01 that string pluck.....gets me every time.
Love the little bits of Kefka's theme thrown around in there!
Beautiful work!
Fantastic remake

That's awesome dude. Congratz.

sound something to put in a final fantasy 6 movie with a extended solo like they did with one-winged angel final fantasy 7 advent children
very good!
i could name at least a hundred such people. myself included.
Simplesmente Incrível, batalha épica contra Kefka (Final Fantasia VI ) ^^
That version kicks ass.
Holy fuck...this is absolutely perfect.

Very nice.:D

That's the best part in the whole song. Rest of it is epic, but that part is MARVELOUS!!! I love it :D
+guaskoqizz I disagree, he/she turned that part into an upbeat song when it's always been very church/organ like. So it's not the same to me.
+Silver Ancient
Are you telling me that the part is the worst? :) But you like it, don't you?
Ultra contemporary moment of toccata and fugue's best moment imo. I too, also dig it.
guaskoqizz Idk if it's just Aphmau rubbing off on me, but I love the end guitar solo
guaskoqizz But that part is also awesome!
kefka is the best clown in therms of power and insanity
And his name is Kefka.
I love u
i liked alot the third part
🔥🔥🔥💥💥⚡⚡⚡🌟🌟🌟
Make it a hundred and two :D

Isn't he now called The Artist Formerly Known As Prince of Darkness?
DeviantArt. Just type in Final Fantasy VI: Dancing Mad in the search field.
You called?
where do I get that poster?!

Would you look at this guy.
🙀
I prefer the Prince of Darkness version, but this version is awesome, too.

The whole thing is an absolute thriller... but I have to say there is one part that is just plain atrocious... @ 12:33 :(
Final Part (6:41) is boss as fuck
Blessed your ears? OMG! You've fell victim to Kefka's sick imbaness :|
(Yeah like and comment from me as well, this is the god damn plague)
a bit too plain for me :/
