  • Gold Rush: The Game. We get our claim in Alaska, get some tools, then get us some gold!
More trucking and digging today as we try to get the mats back to 100% again. However now that the game has been balanced out more, it's going to take a while to get them there. In the end we decide against going to completely full in favour of being able to grab vast quantities of gold ore. This means that next time we'll be able to go on a shopping spree and buy a new bulldozer!

I hope they add a trailer to haul dirt and a hitch on the dump truck so you could haul more

Those huge excevators are around 800 tons

i would suggest the idea of them adding a bucket-wheel excavator to the game but that would probably cause a ton of lag

    Hi Frith,
been watching a lot of your videos, think they are great!
something I would like to see is the buckets from the duplex jig filled to 100% and then to compare the bucket closest to the washplant to the one furthest away to see which bucket collects the highest concentration of gold. it would be a great thing to see in my eyes.
    anyway loving the videos!
    Jay

One of the biggest things I want to see is multiplayer and then open the game up to modders

In real life the 400 has a 3yd bucket and it’s 100 Thousand pounds / 50 ton machine used to run one two years ago In real life it would take. 3 to 3 half buckets to fill a rock truck. A 700 or 800 which is a 100 ton excavator which would be realistic

If you were refering to my comment, that is a cool idea, but a misunderstanding. My suggestion was to use it like a psuedo bulldozer till you got the real one. Just to clean off that area for the dumptruck instead of using the excavator. Since it looks like you were able to manage, and as I suspected, it's irrelevent now that you can get the real one.
If you're going to risk losing a vehicle, it's better if it's one you don't like, as opposed one you use all the time. ~.^
Besides, in the end, I think worst case, you can just reset it.
Good thing you decided to move that bucket, you would have lost 8% paydirt.

My father drives a 145t excavator (cat 6015b) and costs about 1.5 million dollars

It seems BIG excavators prices are a bit more negotiable, as everywhere I looked it seemed to be more of a contact us for pricing situation. That said, there seems to be a rough pattern of $100K per 10 tons. 10-15 tons ranging from $85k - $100k, 20-30 ton from $200k - $300K up to 50 ton machines costing $500k. Larger than that... there is little pricing info readily available shy of the $100 Million Bagger 288.

Maybe we should try writing to a few of them and telling them we're thinking of buying one! But thank you for the information, that's awesome, if we just went on a linear projection from those figures, I nice 600t machine would set us back a paltry $6million!

so its cheaper to run the mobile washplant? i get about 2 to 2.5 ounces of gold per bucket, and they fill up pretty fast

I don't know how feasible it would be, it would almost be a whole new game. But I would love to see smithing added to the game. So rather than hiring the smith in town to smelt your gold, you can buy your own forge and heat and mold the metal yourself. Different machines used in refining it.

I just wanted to say that if your getting gold out of your tailings then your wash plants and sluice are failing, and your wasting gold, rewashing your tailings just isn't possible in real life

    • @killman369547
      @killman369547 Před 6 lety

yes (kinda) its possible but don't dip your dozer blade down too much or it'll just start clearing the dirt and flattening the terrain. you want it high enough where it's skimming off the top layer of dirt into a pile
