To everyone complaining this is boring...the channel is called Bret's CRAPPY Shots...I found it entertaining and his voice relaxing (in a Bob Ross type of way). Keep going brother!

Agreed. Glad someone got it. I appreciate the regular guys hanging out feeling it gave instead of watching some master edited production.

Simple.. Get Bright paper, coat it with clear tape.. spray with black Laquer and let dry.. then shoot! I made hundreds!

I hand-poured 14 gallons of molasses before he made one target! Now, the grass needs mowing again! There’s a Part 2? 🤣

I make a lot of these splatter targets and I go straight to the Dollar store to get all I need for the targets!

I don’t know why I never thought of the sleeve protectors. That’s so time saving and simpler.
You can also buy bright colored duct tape and tape a piece of cardboard etc and then paint over the duct tape and that works as well.
Also I really enjoyed the video and the unedited “let’s hang out and make stuff” vibe.

nice ideas. One more option for you is to use the same paper you have there, but buy "Carpet Tape" from the hardware store.. huge roll will cover hundreds of sheets.. probably cheaper overall than buying the sleeves or thermal tape.

That is actually a pretty good idea. Thank you for watching and commenting please feel free to subscribe.

No idea if you're still seeing comments for this but for your future reference in using those tape dispensers.... The reason you had such a hard time with getting that tape started is it's not suppose to go under the roller. It only goes under the two little tabs on each side and hangs loose OVER the roller. The roller helps to ROLL on the tape as you drag it across a surface. There you go.

I usually do it on rainy days when i cant shoot and have nothin better to do...saving money sometimes takes effort ..Some just dont get that i guess..only thing i dont like is the sound of the tape when i pull it off the roll lol..small price to pay for saving alot of money over time..Waitin on some new videos from ya..Shoot straight and shoot long brother..thanks for sharing!!👍👊

Yes low cost tends to mean more work! And lately I have been using cut up card board boxes and yard sale stickers as my targets. Thank you very much for watching my videos means alot to me and I will be making more videos but with work and everything else going on right now I havent even had time to be able to shoot. Much less make videos. :(

@@BretsCrappyShots Hey bud i meant to tell u what ive been shooting and it works really great.may not be for you but its sooooo cheap..i bought a roll of freezer paper 150 sq. Ft. and a bingo dobber .lol .like ppl mark bingo cards with..my target back ground it 2'×2' and i just tear off a peice of the paper and put as many dots on at as the paper allows.. The end of the dobber is about 1" i think and the paper has a waxy side and a dry side. .cost about 6 dollars for the paper and the dobber..just a thought and a cheap route to go..and u could use a sharpie on the paper for bigger bullseyes if needed..👍👍

Worth it's weight in gold!! I'm building muzzle loaders and want bleeder targets for the customers to use for sighting in. thanks for this one.

Stoney327 yeah that tape was a pain in the butt lol. Making muzzle loaders that's awesome man. And the laminated is by far the easiest.

hi dont know about where you live but here in England when we was kids we made scratch pictures basically it was differant coloured waxes on paper then ink over top you scratched in picture and it was all differant colour you could use paint . So i asked myself why not use clear wax coloured paper and paint it worked well. also for the steel pellet traps i have a small 4inch square one i put red led into one they have square box section with a slit on top and a hanging hole on back put led and battery on top leds make it bright inside so perfect for night shooting to see holes if need be or low light like on a tree

Ever heard of editing a video? Not to great to watch a guy pealing of tape of a dispencer for like 3 minutes. One other tip, search a chair that aint old or creaking as much, wow that was irritating. Great video besides that. No offence, just giving some feedback. Was curious about the laminated foil too.

    • @BretsCrappyShots
      @BretsCrappyShots  Před 6 lety +1

this was my 5th video i was still trying to figure out how to edit videos and trying to find a good editing program at the point of this video i was still using a free software which was a pain in the butt to use but now i use power director. Yes the chair was a pain in the butt to listen to but as its not my main chair for videos it was what i had handy. The reason i left me picking at the tape in the video was because my mom and girlfriend got a kick out of watching me struggle with it so much so i figured maybe my viewers would like to see it and maybe get a giggle out of it. Thank you watching my videos and thank you for the pointers!
