This is 2023 and we are still debating on the timeline of Mahabharat and Ramayan... inspite of having such a rich history we still haven't documented events before the Mughals... Go first and read the study report of bet dwarka and dwaraka , you will get to know this man anD SN rao are just linking the findings . the findings of anchors were of 15th century AD which was corrected by the NIO .

I have seen a documentary on Graham Hancock. He had dived into the dwarka area. He was no given permission to dive further. Because of many issues.. govt is not giving permission for archaeologists and do you thing they will give permission for common people? 😂

Not necessary. There is the story of Atlantis. People believe that it was a real kingdom that was submerged in the sea. Archaeologists laugh at them believing it. Just like dwarka. And there are theories that ancient Egypt was also advanced. Archeologists also deny that. So it is not limited to India.

Every year, the government provides more than 1100 crores to ASI as a budget, and I really don't know what they're doing with it. About six months ago, an inspection occurred at ASI. They discovered that most of the staff were inefficient and hadn't even studied archaeology. I can say that ASI is one of the worst departments in India. We have to fight against it. Jai Hind🇮🇳

He has brought out a book on a new Relativity theory, which he proved in his laboratory in TIFR, according to him and questioning the existing theory. Sometimes I feel the area we have studied where 'indus vally civilizations' emerged may be an important area of 'mahabharat age'
Reasons: -
1) the period of IVC and mahabharata collides
2) the region was extensively developed as its mentioned in our scriptures of mahabharata.
3) it's spread over the area which the mahabharata is mention of been occurred.
4) it was excavated in the british india, which resulted us to see that area form Britisher's perspective.
Any counter opinion will be welcomed. 🌸
Ivc is said to be a bronze age civilization. However, there are many evidences which prove that there were iron tools used in the mahabharata. The mature period of IVC was from around 2600-1900 B.C. where iron was not used. So, there is no possibility of co-existence.
You can refer to the 3rd book of the mahabharata, vana parva:Tirth yatra parv - section CLXXII
There is one issue here because the Mahabharat have a reference related to a geological data. It mentions the declining state of Saraswati river. Saraswati river went extinct around 1500 BCE. If so, the declining phase of Saraswati river must be before that aka 1500 BCE.

the biggest mystery is who built these magnificent temples with such amazing designs, what tools were used? It has been proved beyond doubt that there were advance rock-cutting technologies, but we do not see any evidence of that kind of technologies in the Mahabharat time as per archelogy. So those temples are much older than Mahabharata time, if so, were there any advance civilization before Mahabharat time, no one would build a temple just like that, also in Mahabharata we do not people talking about these gigantic temples etc? then is Mahabharat much older ?? confusing.. please share thoughts

Whole Mahabharat itself start before Pitamaha born .. And end when Krishna leave this earth.. soo all time period was around 500 - 1500 year approx.. may be because THAT there is diiference between actual time period.. VARY DEPEND upon particular incident of Mahabharat.

I still believe the War took place somewhere between 2300 to 2200 BC cause as per his words the Flood took place in the reign of Parikshit's 8th Generation. Now roughly taking one generation ruled for 80 years approx. So it comes down to 640 years +Parikshit's reign which would be another 80 years. That amounts to 640+80=720 years. Now the flood took place in approx 1400 BC. Substract 720 from 1400 BC we get 2120 BC. Now Pandavas ruled for some time as Parikshit was not even Born when the War ended... Taking that amount to be 26 years roughly (He was born approx. 1 year later + As per Vedic culture 25 years of Education) so 2146 BC... And All these r mere speculations... Cause people then lived a life more than 100 years. So Substracting another 100 years roughly to compensate for that time. We get 2245 BC. That still Dates 5K years back
Gap between two consecurive generations should be considered as 20 yrs and not as 80 yrs. As date of Udayan is known the date of Parikshit can be calculated and further backwards to Pandavas and the Mahabharata war.
I heard the same thing from another archaeologist. Pv Narasimha Rao suddenly stopped funding the Dwarka project and also imposed a ban on further excavation off the coast
