    Vehicles filmed at Dealerships are For Sale. Make sure to visit the dealerships website for detail info about each vehicle. If your watching a video thats older than 90 days you can expect that vehicle to most likely already being sold, unless its a new car.
    FYI - Charleston Car Videos on CZcams Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.

    well my friend you are a realist and i like that........but only a fool would take this car to dealer......actually this car is easy to work on, but we all know especially you!!
    that its not what ya know...its who ya know...
    i got an old retired tank mechanic who was in the war...thats all he worked on was tanks....an if you can work on a tank, you
    can work on anything. he said he would go thru my whole care for a six pack.. a joint and 100 bucks.
    and he is the best! better than any dealership tech. and here's the kicker!!!!
    HE"S german!! so he know the s class very well.

    S550 are great cars when everything is functioning as it should, but when you get past about 80K miles then you start to realize the TRUE cost. This is why most used ones are 100K miles and up because that is when the original owners start dumping them due to annoying maintenance cost and hassle. Sadly, the car's best years and miles are behind it by 120K miles. The way that sunroof shade fell and the way the wood on dash center was chiped says a lot about the way the car was not cared for right.

      My 07 S550 is broken down in my garage right now. Only 97000 miles it needs that camshaft idler gear, needs speed sensors on the transmission valve body, two lower control arms, rear engine oil seal, alternator, and a battery in the trunk.

      @@silk7519 Yeah, do what everyone else does , Sell it "As is" or try to get it fixed and sell it to try and recoup som eof the cost. Then cut your losses. What you are experienceing isnt unusual and it is a sign of "Beginning of the end" of the great S550 life. It was good while it lasted, but sadly can't last forever. Time to cut ties.

      @@rahimi4762 Yeah, Mercedes is what really defined "German Engineering". Now I am starting to get sour to German cars and suspect they get a bunch of Chinese/Taiwan garbage and slap them together or has a bunch of Chinese workers in Stuttgart.
      Mercedes it seems is making same pathetic mistake as BMW, which is filling cars wuth untested electronic garbage and screens (which are tied into the car to the extent that car wont work if something goes wrong with the display unit) They better get back to quality and stop chasing the electronic crap. Best Mercedes I think that has ben produced in last 10 -15 years was the 2009 E-350.

    It's 5900 in my area, about the same as a 5.7 charger but overall I like the used mercedes more because the owners of these luxury cars typically take very good care of them. The old 2003-09 1st gen 300c/charger is $2500 for one with minor blemishes and would be a great for budget hot rod build, I've seen stroker kits, cams, and tuners available for the 5.7
    Srt8 and AMG cars from pre 2010 are also getting very affordable, I'd rather have an old CLS63 over a brand new ford fiesta 😃 be sure to check for headbolt issues though

    • @JohnBartiromo
      @JohnBartiromo Před rokem

      yes - if you can pay cash and plan to drive it for 6 years. you wont be able to sell it for a profit, so you'll need to get 5 years driving out of it - essentially it's the purchase price + maintenance + fuel and insurance totaled together that will be your transportation expense for those 5 years. so the purchase price means you are $2000 a year to start for 5 years. if that seems reasonable you are off to a good start. (Im picking one up - get this - for free. it has some issues but looks good and drives. so for now, for me, for free - it's a steal. hell the wheels and tires are worth a cool $2k.)
