- On D-Day, Easy Company veteran Earl McClung parachuted into France and found himself with two men dead at his feet in mere minutes. This is his story, in his words, of that chaotic night and the insanity of the following days.

Earl McClung was the son of my Great Grandfather's Sister. This is AMAZING to see. I've sent this to my immediate family to make sure they've seen it.
My Mother's first cousin, Johnny [John Paul Foster] of the 82nd Airborne also jumped there that night, God Bless them all!
I retraced his steps, back in June 2017. I thought about what happened at the shrine, and even lay down next to it to see his viewpoint when the Germans were coming. Got some great photos. Easy Company are my heroes...
I walked their steps at Brecourt and Carentan as well. Amazing.
Thank you Mr. Mclung, for what you and your colleagues did, on D day and beyond.
Never Forgotten.

"he's probably a dope addict to this day" at 3.00 .Excellent !!
Thank you for what you did for us.Some of us don't forget.
Indeed...I know St mere eglais well, the town has hardly changed.
Who hasn't jumped outa plane into a heavily fortified village? Picked off a few enemies, administered first aid, dragged a wounded to safety and walked down the road to hook up with a few friends and basically made their way to Berlin....easy peasy
OMG I'm just thinking what this must be like for him reminiscing that night! Holy moly. Beautiful art work. I'm just enamored with these guys.
What a gem of a video. The next time I’m in Normandy I’ll visit those spots.
Interesting and great video! I shared it to my community!
