We managed to snag a respectable 9th place this time around. We had good shots at big fish but we struck out on a few leaving us with a fifth fish weight in around 12 pounds. unfortunate, but we will take what we can get!

Worked a lot of years chartering for salmon on lake O. The 3 deck guys are way to spastic. Going to lose rods and break gear. Stay calm, hook the fish, ask for help. Trying to set a line and grab a rod when there is 2 others right there, nothing but trouble trying to be a hero. Work as a team not as an individual. Awesome video. The action was hot. Sure miss those days

Good job on the day to you and your team Nick and with this video. It was a fun tourney and day on the water, too bad about the Saturday blow out though. We made a similar mistake in moving to the blue water but was pretty crowded there in the muddy waters closer to shore. I heard about your bag getting stuck in the prop and was nice to see how you guys handled the situation - well done!

Im new to the adventures of fishing! You have an awesome rig. Just a couple questions. What kind of downrigger is that? What is your rod and reel of choice?
How far out are you? What depths do you set your lures, the temperature you are trying to reach. And i noticed a couple lines on dipseys. How do you prepare all those lines out and not get them tangled?

We should have stayed on em man. We likely would have moved 1 or 2 more but the pressure of all the boats made us run. We should have stuck it out.

As one not familiar with the fish or fishery it would have been nice to actually see some close ups of the fish. I was waiting to get a glimpse. Try some different angles just sayin'.

Its a thing thats forsure. Il try and do a video on a 52 viking this year that fishes out of toronto.. nothing compared to the offshore boats down south but still pretty badass for a great lakes boat!
