have the bracelet version of both cartier legres and TIF DBTY and the Cartier is WAY better! I much prefer the setting of the cartier diamond and the best part is that b/c cartier has a logo charm on end, the weight of charm holds the diamond in place so it does not move around like the DBTY - hope that makes sense and the chain itself on cartier feels stronger - imo, well worth the cost difference and I'm pretty positive the same logic applies to necklace as have tried on - own a DBTY necklace in platinum from years ago and it moves around - HTH!
