Talking about Kiba and plates, the fact that area could be the best location to farm plates and attachments draws alot of action to it, just like reserve was back in the day with drop down room for tech spawns. That era of tarkov was great and they need to focus on making every map have a resource area like that. If your low on food go to interchange if your low on meds go to woods low on ammo reserve.
On topic with the map to map travel, having raid exp multipliers depending on the amount of locations you have visited and time in game would be a cool feature.

Focused loot for different maps would be nice to see. You already see light aspects of that but it should be more distinct. Not to mean that it would be imppssible to find tech spawns on shoreline for example, but if the focus would be medical and barter items, well you should be able to find those in much greater quantity than any other map, with more spawns and consistantly better spawns
Each map should have at least 3 different guaranteed loot rooms. Example Interchange - Weapons armor - Kiba. Food - Goshan Meds Ultra medical
Reserve: Drop down - Tech Marked rooms and maybe rework the knight buildings or the barracks to be more in line with an armory with ammo out the ass, and some guaranteed high tier ammo behind the keys.
At least 3 per map to avoid some maps just being dead all the time because there's no point in going back after the quests, and adding more grindy quests to keep people coming back onto it sucks ass.
The raid exp for going to more areas is a really cool idea to me

I wanted to enjoy next wipe by grinding ragman level 4 and dying to Timmy getting one shotted by 9mm PST.
I am a hardcore virtual soldier. Iâve read on the war books, Iâve watched the navy seal podcasts. I want to move slowly, tactically for hours at a time, averaging 1 kill for every 12 hours played and this ruins it.

Go play squad or arma. You are one in a MILLION and I mean there might even be less then that of people who want to play a FPS with 0 to no action. This will NEVER happen in a FPS game that is centered around gunplay.
So you want to walk for 6 hours. Pretty much bored out of your mind. Finally have the chance to take out a target and itâs UBER shitty and sloppy because you barely get to shoot. Sounds like a terrible milsim to me

The only thing that i would change regarding the changed armor system would be to change availability for some bullets like 5.56 M855A1 and 5.45 BP. i would put them on ll4 traders but questlocked because if we are in a state of the wipe where the majority wears lvl 5 armor, that currently makes those two calibers useless compared to whats available. e.g. 7.62x51 etc. especially playing solo needing like 40 bullets to kill someone if u only hit the chest/stomach area simply doesnt feel very rewarding if u use M856A1 which is the currently best ammo for that caliber which u can obtain somewhat repetitive
This late into wipe when all the sweats have that good of armor, we need to have the availability of better ammo at this point. In the first month or two of wipes, I understand, but after that, they just need to open those trades
As an ocasional player i totaly agree. I tend to hop into eft after a few months of the wipe and just get destroyed by best amo chads while im rocking shitty bullets that do nothing
i think a option to search for something in the stash would be realy good , like having to open 30 bags just to find something is kinda bad, having a search menu would be a lot faster

Or something like how you can hover over your head and see all your helmets, they need that for every piece of kit. Especially magazines, Iâm looking at my 5 cases like 6 times each to find my mags. So annoying
@@davidschannel3594 I can actually help with that, go to modding then select the magazine square then all the compatible magazines you have will be there. Just equip the magazines you want to use one by one and when you go back to your stash you will have all the magazines at the topmost stash slots, super helpful for me.

A litle change i noticed is the penetration and armor stats being in display when you inspect the ammo. Im so thankful for being able to check it fast instead of going to an external website (specially for newish players like me)

most important is that ledx used to be soooo rare on shore 2 wipes ago that it actually kinda ruined the raid once u found one since u had to get out asap or quicksell for 200k now u can just shove it in the prison purse and continue on with some money to fall back onto like in 11.x
Exactly. Iâm going to run interchange again because thereâs actually an incentive to pop SJ6 and rush GPUâs. I can loot PCâs too and if I find one, I can then just go and push shots and PvP.
AND, if I loot a LedX or GPU and win PvP, I profit off the gear too. PvP is profitable again as well giving you more incentive to fight people as well.
Always sucked being down on money and avoiding PvP to get good loot and then need to leave the raid to secure profits⊠More hatchet runners probably, but it will also mean more PvP overall and PvP around high tier loot spots as well.

General Sam made a great point about few years ago when found in raid was first introduced. When people like him and me found a big ticket item, Iâd be way more willing to go after PVP since I know Iâve already made money, but after found in raid came out, I played more and more cautious the more loot I found. Also I absolutely loved the new armor system, and I donât think it was pointless. When I unlocked my first lvl 5 plate, I felt way more survivable.
I would think for map to map travel would be the specific maps that have extracts to other maps. E.g Path to lighthouse, Road to customs, factory gate, etc. They'd just have to make exfil points to connect every map. Now how the time works would interesting. Maybe load into a fresh raid?
Also I know this is counter productive to the changes to found in raid, but I really wish stuff you crafted in your hideout couldnât be sold on the flee market. If what you crafted was just meant to be used for yourself, the hideout could be such an incredible tool to balance the availability of items.

Maybe they add more extracts and cycle them more like in customs or shore

My strat with this new FIR system is whenever I have to do something on shoreline I go to east side and get the dorm guard desk key. I put that in my keytool and it instantly covers the cost of my kit, like 300k for it.

I honestly think the neck hitbox was a complete brainlit move. Bitch, at least make our vitals work right before you start adding more 1 tap hitboxes. I mean my PMCs heart is apparently the size of a lunchtray, which doesn't make sense considering I can only sprint 100 feet before being physically unable to move faster than a walking pace.
Armors and ammo were so janky. Its insane that you could be just as effective with a pp91 running quakemaker or rip, as with a decked m4 running m995... which really made progression feel non existant when a fking KEDR is 1 tapping an altyn zabralo combo on a center mass spray. Really made running anything more than a paca kedr a waste of money... which felt awful the moment you progressed into other tiers regardless.
Oh and when you were unlucky enough to hit only plates, which was rare, it felt aweful to mag dum, then get droped in 1 return shot. Especially if you were running better gear, had the better position, got the drop on them, and still die to what is essentially failing a d20 roll.

As a retired green beret extract camper i believe that the PMC karma will simply be a buff to campers. If no body comes at least this boss will, and I'm sure whatever he has is better than a bank robber and a silenced kedr. And maybe the boss comes plus pmcs. An AI boss will not stop rats at all.

I feel like the armor rework is too big of a jump back to the old complete protection of the past. I feel like it would be a good middle ground to adjust the economy around the armors, like why is the empty slick rig still a fortune, and boost the soft armor so the rigs matter more and there can be large area coverage that is still more meaningful, but chads can't go back to god tanks if you can't pen level 5.
Does that mean that you can put a guest item in your pouch and when you die you can still use it like the usbâs you need to find for skier

Sort of, and does show the problem with the pre-armour rework and current versions of armour: There is no *concept* of 'mid tier' ammo. You either ran the best pen you could, or leg meta.
Running anything in the middle was worse and this really constricted what guns you could use, to the point that everyone baring sweats just ran sp7 in a kedr, because it would ENTIRELY ignore armour, which is a bigger problem that plates only covering 70% of your thorax instead of 100%. And this patch having the plates cover 98% of the thorax ironically makes 'armour' you wear unimportant, it doesn't matter whether you got an iotv a zabralo or an mmac: It's about the plates you carry, not what you carry them in, which lowers diversity of gear, a clear step backwards interms of what bsg attempted to achieve:
Keep 'side' soft armour and side plates covering armpit, increase soft armour on tier 4 traders (iotv, redut, gzhel, bagariy) to class 4 (bigger ones like zabralo, thor rein., redut-t5, to class 5), then correctly shift the angle of the chest model to face towards where you're looking, not to the side exposing the ribs that previously weren't covered by plates: And you've fixed most issues with the last 3 iterations of armour.
100% about loot is worth losing to a good firefight cos youll remember the fight more than the 800k rouble loadout

What I wish they would add is sniper decoys if you think you are not alone youâd make sure by sticking a decoy in the air
And a feature to join a searching âlobbyâ with like 10 people which you can invite, kick etc but it would allow for a simultaneous join resulting in like custom pvp 5v5 on woods etc.
I just imagine sitting in discord with 10 people calling out and fighting each other
If you're using a bolty you should be exempt from the karma issue, this is a way to instantly make boltys viable
I like the survival aspect of Tarkov and the FIR change is terrible for that. Stuff you find in raid is worth less because you're competing with people that flip items they bought from the traders.
If the wipe would just be: Remove (Head,Throat) hixbox, i'd be SO F* happy

I stopped playing this game a little after 0.11 came out and couldnât get back into it when the newer updates came out as I didnât have the time to really dump into this game and a lot of the changes just made the game unbearable for me. But seeing the found in raid change makes me really want to pick up this game again because it finally allows players who donât have a whole lot of time and even new players to have a bit of leniency when it comes to the âhardcoreâ elements of this game.
Rip Timmieâs/people who started later in the wipe and donât have 8h+ a day to get kicked in the balls by this game
I hope PMC Karma will work and keep the bums that sit in corners together in there own lobbies tbh.

I like Lighthouse but the Scav Players are the problem for me. Sometimes Scav Players are faster at USEC camp then me as PMC Players.
I get that ammo not being able to be bought off the flea is good and all but shit like 56a1 is stupid as fuck. Also the karma for camping is hot garbage I can already tell with how scavs work. You will be pinned by scavs from all directions the second a body hits the floor near you.

My main concern with removal of FIR is EARLY game trader flipping.
But people have to be able to afford to buy it. It will be overpriced bcs no one can get it but the people who have got the traders, thus people will spend all their money for 2 or 3 mags while wearing garbage Armour.
An increased pen is good but it also drops damage, and you don't need that good pen at the start of the wipe as people are rocking mainly t3 or t4 armor. Sure itll be annoying to die to someone using M80 at the start but that person will also be broke after firing off 3 shots. and if they die they broke broke. they might add more restrictions tho, who knows

buying 12 nades takes 5 seconds and you can make an easy 40usd profit of each of them. and thats late into the wipe currently.
can buy foregrip and sights and resell them for 4x and it takes 3 seconds, perfect things to do at the end of a game sesh to quickly earn 200k with no risk

Early wipe the profit and prices will be even more, doubt people will buy the stuff if it's to high

What you don't remember is that back in 2019, the kind of people that rat, used to hatched run, and that hatchet running and RMT were the reason FIR was implemented in the first place. You missed the point by saying these people will kill you regardless. They just pop a stim and run to the loot to put it in their ass. Pestily also made a point flipping salewas on wipe day for a full stream and making like a hundred million roubles. It's cool late game, but I'm certain it will be horrible during wipe.

Hopefully they will change Armor system, they just need put new hitbox inside thorax that will be covered only by plate and act like head hit box so bullet that hit thorax but around armor wont kill you, right now there is no balance in game. game is like MMORPG people who play 24h got better geat and tank more skill dotn matter and your aim just spreeed a lot of bullet and you will win cuz you can tear the armor

Lol youre just another clueless person who has a case of "mad cuz bad". Its comical to say "skill doesnt matter" now, because the change actually made mechanical skill matter MORE, not less...which is why I said youre completely clueless. Before you could basically use any gun, and ammo, aim center mass and just hold down mouse 1 and spray someones thorax, which would likely lead to killing them in 1 second because it was incredibly easy to miss the plate with at least a few rounds(and all you need is 1-2 rounds) because the plate hitbox felt incredibly small. The problem was that took literally 0 skill to do, especially with the recoil changes...aim didnt really matter beyond being able to semi accurately spray rounds anywhere around the thorax area, which again...is an incredibly easy feat of mechanical skill that almost anyone can do. Now, you are rewarded for being able to hit headshots, which is mechanically much more difficult to consistently do(and this is what its like in basically every single FPS game).
Also, gear SHOULD matter, if youre using expensive ammo and gear, with t6 plates, you SHOULD have an advantage over Timmy using t4 plates and shooting m855....no clue how people gaslight themselves into thinking that is unbalanced. Before it largely didnt matter what ammo you used and therefore it largely didnt matter what armor you wore because the plates rarely actually saved you. Some little timmys might be mad, but the game is in a much healthier state when gear progression actually exists and matters, and mechanical skill is rewarded and matters more again.

I don't like PMC karma at all and not because I dislike the idea of A karma, but rather I want to play the game how I want and as of late I've been playing PvE quite a lot so to have that kind of system I think is somewhat disappointing although if the boss is manageable to kill relatively easy that would be okay, but still I think that AI should patrol all the areas by default and not to have a specific boss type character intervene because again, I want to play the game how I like and I do not like this idea of punishing the player (again depending on the boss, in which way I'd rather have patrols again) for how they want to play even if that's one way or the other, so I hope that they won't implement this or really nerf it down or again (sry) have AI patrolling maps better, with use of nades etc.. if they spot you.
The idea of connected maps is awesome.
Found in raid was democratically chosen so I am fine by that, and also like the idea myself too because i noticed I could get items from flea to complete my trader tasks which I didn't like too much when I did it a few times, seeing as I'm also relatively new to the game.
Armor system is okay because in essence that is why they have tiers of armor which kind of totally makes sense.
QoL changes are nice.
But yeah. I hope in general that they would work on the AI a bit more, and I like the AI as it is now with the tactics they apply but what I"d really like to see more is just them, the bots being able to patrol the maps and get into spaces where sort of only players can hide in and that would be fine. Like it wouldn't be a totally bad idea I think to add more bosses to the maps but again that they would be manageable and not some like fantasy tank like characters.
Because I also like the PvE mode so much, I hope they give it some love too honestly because it is really good I think.

Ugh, Lame, now i need to do tasks to kill players with thorax shots. This wipe am lvl 35 and have probably done like 6 tasks. Traders lvl 2 and 3 and a few lvl 1.
