Melody has have to have one of the best female metal voices in generations. Like you say, they have just gotten better and better. Their covers of the greats are simply phenomenal, but so is their original material. They have 3 albums of originals: Chain of Thorns (EP), Queen of Hearts (LP) and the most recent Madness (LP). Many, many great songs to choose from. You just cannot go wrong with anything you choose. BTW, as you will notice, they are not just accomplished musicians, but play multiple instruments. You will notice at the early stages, Melody played bass and Ethan Rythm guitar. She later passed on the bass to Ethan so she could concentrate in fully developing her voice (and man has she ever!!). I was "fanged" on this band a few years back and am still blown away at everything they produce. Another amazing aspect is that they are fully independent by choice and do EVERYTHING within the family. Write, Produce, Record, Master, Videos, Merch, etc.... and are as down to earth and humble as they come....truly inspirational. Keep 'em coming!!
Great reaction. Another great cover from about the same time in Liliacs career is their cover of The Trooper by Iron Maiden. A favorite early original with a powerful message is We are the Children. Looking forward to more Liliac reactions!

This was one of their first Metal covers. "Crazy Train" being the other. This is from 2017 I think, so 7 years ago, and as you know, 7 years with children this young, they mature quite quickly over the years. Melody was only 15 here. She's 22 now.

You feel the same way as myself. Discovered them almost 4 years ago and was blown away. Saw them live 1.5 years ago and was one of the best concerts I have seen, and I have seen all the top 70-80 metal acts. Liliac brings it and then some.
I recommend watching The Trooper next, twelve year old Ethan is having a shredding duel with brother Sam. They’re still together, Abby just got married this past summer and took several months off to prepare for the wedding, honeymoon and getting settled into her new home. While she took time off, Alexa Rae, a very talented female drummer filled in for her for the second half of the tour they were on at that time. Abby is back, they just released a cover of Heaven and Hell. BTW right now they’re all on a family vacation together with their parents in Jamaica.

G,day again , Now you know what the Fangs Were on about in the comments , this tribute cover is their most watched performance with over 13 million views , and along with their other Mettalica classic ,MASTER OF PUPPETS (they have an official music video and a live version both are amazing) highlight their ability to play as good as the headline bands . FYI The term Fang comes from their style of music known as Vamp metal, which in turn, comes from the fact that Papa Liliac hails from the area of Transylvania where Dracula's castle is located in Romania. Also the name Liliac is Romanian for Bat , add to this ,the black or dark costumes, the bat symbols and the coffin shaped guitar cases you occasionally see, and it conjures up images of vampires and goths of course lately they have changed their image a couple of times just like .every other band there ever was, and always for the better . I suggest you try an original next, MARS is the obvious choice or NOTHING,, both will blow your socks off . FANG4LIFE RORH

Let me introduce you to another band who has similarities, The Warning! They are a band of 3 sisters from Mexico, they covered this in 2014 - they were 9, 12 and 14 at the time, it went viral - now more than 25 million views! In 2021 they were asked to do their own thing with Enter Sandman by Metallica for the Blacklist album with the Canadian R&B singer Alessia Cara, they had 10 days to get it in the can done and dusted despite Alessia being in Canada and they were in Monterrey Mexico due to Covid restrictions. It’s the #1 track on the Album!!!
So if you’re interested in that particular song and a band of siblings it could be very interesting for you! The two tracks can be found (along with a lot more) on the Band’s CZcams channel. They have 3 albums (soon to be 4) and 2 EP’s, all of which are their own compositions. Enter Sandman was really their only cover since about 2015/6!
Edit: I forgot to mention, last year they toured Europe with Muse, this year they’re invited to Wacken open air and doing their own headlining tour of Europe. Last year they played live at the MTV VMA’s - 2 songs, More and Evolve, the crowd went crazy about them!

The Warning is not a cover band, but they reimagined this song with Grammy winner Alessia Cara for Metallica’s Blacklist Album. Suggest you watch the pro-recorded version at the band’s epic August 2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert. It’s really, really good.

Now as for The Warning, besides their redo of Enter Sandman for Metallica’s Blacklist album, I believe they have performed covers in public three times since making a conscious decision in 2015 to concentrate on original compositions only. One was in 2016 when they covered The Foo Fighters’ The Pretender, at a TEDx Talk at the University of Nevada. In 2017 they shared the stage with Aerosmith, Def Leppard and Alice Cooper at the Mother of All Rock Festival where they covered some of those bands’ classics. The third was in 2019 when they covered Metallica’s Atlas Rise at the Whisky a Go Go as a favor for the club’s owner.
The three sisters began playing together as a band in 2012 before forming The Warning in 2013. They played covers as a way to learn their craft but after attending Berklee College of Music in Boston during the summer of 2015, they decided to ditch the covers and concentrate on original compositions. Since then they have recorded two EP’s and three albums of original music. They are presently putting the finishing touches on their fourth studio album before heading over to Europe in April for the first leg of their 2024 world tour. And that no BS.

Yes they made a choice a long time ago to focus and highlight original music so as to not be known only as a cover band. But to claim they are not one is just silly when one can find tons on YT that easily debunks that nonsense claim.

I'm actually personally sick of the song after all these years. The Metallica Blacklist Album contains a remake of this song by The Warning that is really good.

Actually, you might want to do a triple reaction. First is The Warning's straight cover of Enter Sandman when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old. Kirk Hammett happened to see the viral video and commented that the drummer kicks maximum ass. Next is the official music video for the Blacklist album version with both Alessia Cara & The Warning. Finally, you can end with the 2022 live performance from The Warning at the Teatro Metropolitan in CDMX (Mexico City). There is a 4th version as well, with a live orchestra backing The Warning as they perform it.
