    Very useful tutorial! While my preferences are quite different, I really appreciate how clearly you illustrate the effect of each of the steps in your edit. I feel much more confident about using multiple masks for layering subtle changes to achieve the overall vision.

    Servus Christian... thanks for another fantastic tutorial, we always learn something useful from you. I would love to see you edit one of my images in Lightroom on CZcams. Maybe you can even do this as a series so we can see how you edit our photos?

    The thing about editing photos like this is that it looks unnatural when you put highlights in the shadows such as the center of the image. How would light wrap around the rock into the dark areas? I don't understand why people don't mask out those area so it looks more natural. This is a trend that everyone does and it immediately makes it look fake.
