I passed on this one at $299 a few weeks ago, but it was hard for me to walk away from. I don't mind buying a nice bottle, but...man. I wish these were closer to the $200 range. Appreciate the review!
The price is such a turn off. Is it essentially the Russell 10yr and finished with the Appleton Rum? If so, baseline RR10 with $30-40 and jumped to $300? Holy.
Dang it, I wasn’t planning on hunting this bottle after hearing the price, but that might change now. Visited KY this past weekend and went to Cox’s Evergreen Nulu on your recommendation, I can confirm that it’s a great spot with an amazing selection, and the prices were extremely fair. They did have Voyage behind the bar for $30/pour, but there were so many other bottles that I might not ever have the chance to try again, so I didn’t get a pour of it this trip. Hopefully next time 🤞
I passed on this about a week or so ago. Saw it @ $270, spent too much last month at that point already. Always feel regretful after walking away from a bottle like this but maybe next time.
Personally I don’t really care about seeing reviews of bottles that I don’t stand a chance in hell of getting. If it’s that allocated it is most likely fantastic. Sure there are exceptions but not that often. However seeing a small tasting can't hurt. And literally every bottle you showcased here falls into my no chance in hell of ever seeing!! Enjoy!!
Literally all reviews aside from SLB have been good. Fred Minnick loved it, Mash and Drum rated it a buy at MSRP, I believe every day drinker enjoyed it, and a few websites rated it highly.
Good afternoon. I love your channel and videos and watch everyone. Can I ask for your personal opinion and recommendation? I have an allocation event coming up in my area soon. I have an opportunity to get a bottle of Willett Family Estate Single Barrel 10 year and the 9 year, Weller Single Barrel and the C.Y.P.B, RR 13 year, Wild Turkey Master's Keep Voyage to name a few. What would you be hunting from this selection and huge thanks!

Won an allocated whiskey raffle and was able to get it for $255 today.
I opened mine the other night, and with me being a rum lover as well, i really enjoy this bottle!
Buy a $30 bottle of Russells ten year add a splash of rum and a box and voila $275 Masters Keep bottle. I just cant justify the price on this one.

Pricewise, You could see the writing on the wall at WT after the Single Rockhouse release.
I think this bottle was good but not the best release especially since the price bumped..for 3 bills they can do alot better to make it worth it🥃
Was looking for it for someone else and never saw it in WI, IL, IN, KY and TN. 🥃
I will probably never even see a bottle in the wild at least in my area
Give me three great one hundred dollar bottles any day vs one ok three hundred dollar bottle.

You guys are the only people I have seen that like this! Makes me question your taste buds! 😅
Fred Minnick liked it!

For rum lovers this is a home run. Very good marriage of both. Much better than the Bardstown release.
Sounds like i need to hunt one down.
I’m going to stick with the Russells single barrel. That Voyage price is repellent.
It kills me that the big legacy distilleries charge these ridiculous prices for a limited release.
So ridiculously expensive… and I will probably be in for a bottle. Crap!
Is the single rick going up as well??
Hard pass with that price.
