    Hi, awesome job. Dan I was wondering, what if the big bull attack ? they are unpredictable or you could manage them. ? do yo take turns to fish, what's your strategy?

      Thanks William! There is a company called HeadHunter Spearfishing that has the HeadHunter logo on shirts and hats, etc., not sure if they have a decal or not. I'd probably buy one if they do! Best, Dan

      Omar, thanks. It could vary from 2 minutes to over an hour depending on depth, mix and a host of other factors. I usually prefer to be in the water for 15-20 minutes. Sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more. Best, Dan

    Nice video Dan, thanks, was wondering those big cubera’s do they hang the wreck or do you generally get just 1 look and their gone?

    • @danmacmahon3973
      @danmacmahon3973  Před 4 lety +3

      Hey Randy, 99% of the time you get one quick look and they're gone. The bigger they are the smarter they seem to be. I've been seeing that one for over 10 years on that same wreck. I don't shoot too many Cuberas and never really target them. Thanks for watching! Best, Dan

    Hii bro what’s average time u can get from 80 cubic tank in 30 meters diving

    • @danmacmahon3973
      @danmacmahon3973  Před 4 lety +2

      Caji, on a 100' spear fishing dive, I'd probably burn 40 CF (maybe a little more, maybe a little less) in 20 minutes. I have very good air consumption and some divers could easily burn 2-3 times that. Consult surface air consumption (SAC) tables for some good graphs and info. Best, Dan

    • @danmacmahon3973
      @danmacmahon3973  Před 4 lety +2

      Roger, yeah I don't dive air on anything. Bottom time in 170' is short no matter what mix you're on unless you want to do lots and lots of deco! Thanks for watching, Best, Dan

      Dan, awesome video! You going to setup a patron account? I give 5$ a month to support you're channel and on to your dives. Say 170' what is your deco mostly ? I just wondering never would use that information .
